Jita; scaming geting out of control?

zoltar	Posted - 2007.03.29 03:50:00 - [1] i have been in jita alot the last few days, and this scam - "Teen Wolf > Everning! You all know me, I'm the guy who made 74B a few months back. Well tonight is a generous night: send me any denomination of ISK and I will send you back double. Easy as that. Don't want to beleive me and get rich? Block me, it's your loss. now, it changes a bit every day, but this has been going on for a week and its cloging jita local so bad that selling stuff is geting hard. he has like 15 alts and friends alts in there with him spaming local as well. I just thought we would flame this guy a bit here. We all know we have the best flamers around in these forums. please, carry on...

For one, it's obviously targeted at new players who don't know better, and 2, it makes local chat totally unusable. CCP should give those players warnings, on the basis of spamming.

Also why people spamming crap in local to sell when u have a trade channel? He said that his account just deactivated because he didnt pay for it, but thats not true anyways. So do petition it. Im sick of it aswell

But tbh, I think R0ME0 should be the only one allowed to scam in Jita. ;) It's just fun to see him do it and people fall for it. All the other "copy-cats" will probably end up in my block list. It works fine. Including the GTC sellers which abuse the local channels.

There is absolutely zero penalty for these people and it's about time those that feel strongly about it made an effort to get these lamers to stop. Or you could take the CCP approach to wrongdoing and just ignore it.

Anyone half as smart as a turnip can see that those things are scams, its the ones that want something for absolutely no effort on there part that get the shaft.
