 Hello citizens of EVE!

With the upcoming Ascension update, The New Order of Highsec will host an Event for new(Alpha) and established (Omega) players starting right after Ascension is deployed.

This Event will run until downtime December 31, 2016.

 The MANY ways to win:

#1 Kill as many individual players in Highsec registered on or after the 15th of November 2016

#2 Kill as many individual players in Highsec with a character created on or after the 15th of November 2016 as an Alpha Clone.

#3 Destroy the highest value pod in Highsec with an Omega Clone.

#4 Destroy the highest value pod in Highsec with an Alpha Clone.

#5 Destroy as many individual pods in Highsec with an Omega Clone.

#6 Destroy as many individual pods in Highsec with an Alpha Clone.

#7 Destroy the most expensive ship in Highsec as an Alpha Clone.

 Rules, yes, we have rules:

 1. Make sure you do NOT kill players in the official newbie systems, or risk a permaban!
 2. Make sure you have setup your API on Zkillboard for validation!
 3. Kills must be different players.
 4. If your Alpha Clone has the same amount of kills as another Alpha Clone, the youngest character will win.
 5. If your Omega Clone has the same amount of kills as another Omega Clone, prizes will be shared.
 6. If you kill with multiple characters (Omega Clones only!) pick one of your characters to enter the Event (obviously the one with the most kills
) 7. Once the competition is over, you count your total of individual kills, mark your highest value kill and mail this including a link to your killboard to Mildron Klinker. Do this before downtime January 10, 2017! Please include the contest number(s) for which you are eligible, and include the prize order you would prefer most in case of multiple wins.
 8. Winners will be announced on the 15th of January.
 9. The New Order and all of New Eden are eligible for this contest! Pilots do not need to be in the CODE. Alliance to win!

 Prizes!!!!

I have already received a very nice amount of prizes!
More prizes will be added every week during the Event, and thread will be updated, so make sure you keep checking often to see the new prizes!

 Current prizepool:

#1 winner will receive 1 Plex and 50 Catalyst hulls (hulls will be delivered to any station in Highsec)
#2 winner will receive 2 Plex and 50 Catalyst hulls (hulls will be delivered to any station in Highsec)
#3 winner will receive 1 Plex,
#4 winner will receive 2 Plex.
#5 winner will receive 1 Plex.
#6 winner will receive 1 Plex.
#7 winner will receive 1 Plex and a set of ORE miners.

Pilots are NOT eligible for multiple prizes!

Please visit www.minerbumping.com for more information, and GOOD LUCK!

One each of the following pirate faction battleship blueprints - Vindicator, Machariel, Rattlesnake, Bhaalgorn, Nightmare; located in Jita

 1 billion ISK

2000 Light Neutron Blaster II; located in Dodixie

So there's another ~3200m in prizes to add in. Let's make this huge.

Wow, CODE makes an event to kill especially noobs in HS. That will certainly help Eve getting more players!
So CODE is so cheap that they can't kill seasoned player any more but targets players that can't shoot back and can't afford the losses?

Why don't you not just rename to GrEVE and make destroying the Eve playerbase your main objective? At least it would be more honest then to call this an event!

Sorry, but I can't express how angry I am about this intentional destroying the fun of noobs and demoralizing them without risking permaban! Could you even think about one step further then your killboard filled with things that can't shoot back? Maybe trying to keep this game alive instead killing it? Or thinking that it is more fun to shoot seasoned players instead of collecting noob scalps?

It seems that someone didn't get the memo.

CCP's own research indicates that under the soon-to-be-phased-out trial account system, new players that lose a ship to other players are MORE likely to become paying subscribers that players that do not lose a ship to another player.

I've mentored several newbs whose first interaction with CODE. is to be a client of our ganking services. A few minutes later and they realise that they too can gank.

I often give them a couple million ISK and a gank Atron fit, tell them to go and shoot Ventures, and when they have made ten attempts, contact me again and I'll give them 50 million ISK. Really lets them see that they - a 700k SP newb with little knowledge of game mechanics - can actually influence the game world without having to level up to 100 first.

That's totally okay, could you tell me how many will do this and not just bolster their killboard especially if it is a contest? It's not the killing but robbing the noobs of resources they desperately need. If you kill him, tell him what he made wrong and give him some millions, I'm the last to object.......if

Easily the quickest route I've ever seen to driving new players away from Eve. Nothing is going to make a new player say 'well this is stupid' quicker than being repeatedly killed, and not understanding how he died, or why. This is taking things way too far, and I seriously hope CCP takes a firm stance against this all out war on brand new players.

Anyone capable of undocking in a Skiff is not a newb. Look at the skill requirements. IIRC it's 40 days to sit in one.

Ships in EVE are consumables and newbs may as well learn this early on in their career. I lost my first destroyer to rats (that level 2 security mission that's way harder than the other ones). Lost another ship or two to players soon after subscribing too.

In CODE. at least (including supporters like me that are outside the alliance) we are pretty good at outreach to people under a month old that lose a ship to us. Most clients have been checked - before engaging we will know whether you are likely to be high skilled or low skilled, about how many EHP you are likely to have, and whether you have a permit or not.

We've probably checked your PVP experience on that character (killboards) and have definitely checked your character creation date.

All of these factors will impact our outreach. Someone losing their 7th failfit Covetor of the month in one belt will get a very different post-gank EVEmail to someone losing their first ship ever. Someone with a history of impressive solo kills will get a different response again.
