Character sheet top banner with half-cropped, pixelated and un-interactive character model is terrible UI design. Hiding the top banner is a cop-out. My character deserves to be seen.
I'm just going to quote myself from another thread:

the portrait cannot be zoomed in/out or rotated, so it's a half cropped head that moves around.
I honestly prefer the layout of the display pic and character info that is on the current character sheet. the static square display pic with the info opposite is simple and easy to understand.
I like the idea of the animated character portrait, and this could apply to a square layout, although the low quality of the character render (not-even anti-aliasing fixes it) just looks horrible. I prefer the well rendered static image.
The character sheet needs to bring back the option to view portrait/full view, so we can admire our vanity items (RIP CQ)
- Character portrait header is a waste of space
- Square pic shows more of character
- Current picture is better rendered
- Make portrait zoomable
- Option to view full body
- Re-order the character sheet tabs so 'Character' is before 'Skills'
- Aura vocal samples are cringe-worthy
- T2 and T3 icons on ship icons in hanger are very indistinguishable
- Ship fitting simulation mode needs a 'reset' button
I will admit the ship fitting simulation is a great, and well-waited for tool!!

I would also like to point out the inconsistency of the updated item icon quantity values.

This shows that it was a either a rushed job, or very poorly executed.
I'll admit it is almost un-noticable, and most players wouldn't see it. But as a designer, I notice these things, and see it as a poor effort.

Just noticed this...
When you open your character portrait and choose 'view full body'.. opening the character sheet will close this window, and vice versa.
I guess the characters and the character sheet are not meant to be together.

Don't like character sheet portrait banner = mimimize it
Don't like new Aura voice = Turn sound down...
whats next?
Don't like new UI = disable it?
Don't like new probe scanner = don't use it?
Don't like new mechanics = don't play?
This is a total cop-out.
If the new aura voice is how new players are expected to be introduced into the game, I feel the bad for them. Eve is meant to be ruthless and cold... the new voice is so sprightly and happy.. not in line with the game AT ALL!
If it ain't broke, don't fix it... and if you are going to revamp something... make it BETTER.. .not WORSE.

How I would sum-up the comparison of the old Aura voice to the new one...
Old voice - "Warp Drive Active, there is a chance you are gonna die, I hope you know what you are doing"
New voice - "Warp Drive Active. Have a nice day"

So while the new explosions are pretty damn awesome, the camera reset delay looks to have been broken, which means while viewing a ship as it dies the camera jumps right back to the players ship.
No admiring new explosions.
This was something CCP changed not long ago. Fix pls. Again

Please fix the camera instantly resetting back to the player ship when viewing another ship while it explodes...
I want to see the explosions!!!

When character sheet portrait is minimised, the character name is no longer click-able to open the information window.
Please fix.
*Edit. Also add the Race, Corporation and Alliance logos in minimised view.
I will be refusing to view the new character sheet portrait.

Aura now also includes bad grammer..
"The Star-gate denies you permission to jump *long pause* AT the moment"... should be "FOR the moment".
