MercU is a member of the FATAL alliance and has access to 0.0 space. This presents the corp with many challenges and right now we need members to help fullfil these challenges. If you are the sort of person that enjoys all aspects of the game and wish to see just how far you can go then we may just be the corporation for you. As a small and friendly corp you will be expected to get involved in all aspects of 0.0 life.
It is desirable then that you have adequate skills to be able to live in such a harsh environment as 0.0 space. However, the rewards are many if you have the know how and are -willing to participate in corporation and alliance activities. We focus on teamwork, and see this as a way to knit together the corporation members more closely. We have friendly directors whom are always available on request if needed.
What we ask for:
- 5 million Skill Points
- A "can do" attitude
- Must be willing to participate in alliance and home defence PVP activities.
- A mature attidude towards the game
- Enjoys working in a team
- TS/Vent communications
What we Provide:
The necessary infrastructure to enable 0.0 life to be profitable
A good friendly bunch of mature minded corporation members
Help from experienced PVP, PVE and Industry based characters
Forums both alliance and corporation
A corporation culture within the alliance enabling you to make many friends
A corporation which is focused towards alliance goals
An alliance Communications server
If you feel you can agree to the above then we wish to hear from you. Drop by on our forums register and introduce yourself. On there you will find an application form which you can PM to Recruitment via forums. Or you can drop by the MERCU channel (In Game) and talk to a director there whom will be happy to discuss with you the recruitment process and kick off the process.
If you lack the skill points and still wish to join the corporation then in the first instance register on our forums and introduce yourself. Further join the MERCU channel, we will be happy to advise you on a skill plan that will take into account your personal goals and enable you to join us once the requirements have been met.

As I am looking out the station portal at the clean lines of my docked Caracal, Thinking to myself "Dam Caldari ships are sexy". Sure the Galente have the Thorax another Cruiser class ship, but it pales in comparison against the mighty Caracal. It was during such thoughts that I reflect upon a recent battle that required the use of my battleship, The CEO informed us that the operation was to take place in D-3GIQ our orders to defend the Entry point to D-3GIQ from 319-3D at all costs. A familiar tone from our CEO everything OP related always seemed to be at all costs. The battle was a hard thought one many ships trying to break our blockade. The fleet held together well with the confidence brought about by the FC and the clear orders being received across the secure COMM'S channels. I won't pretend it was easy many times my target screen informed me by the all to familiar red target notification that I was being fired upon I lost many good ship personnel to a well aimed battery of fire from a large turret. Neither was there any quarter given those that lost their ships were podded ruthlessly and when things were quiet between the constant assaults. We had some pleasure in modifying our ships sensors to search for the corpses and then better calibrate our weapons systems.
This is 0.0, this is what I signed up for, the compassion I once felt when a naive trainee pod pilot is now in the distant past and with it the need to change the universe. Now replaced by a selfish need for self preservation and profit. The bond I have with my fellow corporation mates is all that counts the need for the corporation to succeed all that matters.

If you're looking for a corp of dedicated PvP'ers, look no further. My two weeks in MercU have been the best of my eve-career.
Corp bought ships at mineral cost, constant PvP ops. Incentives for PvP active characters, it's all here.
Joining MercU isn't joining a corp, it's joining a family.
