Well with the current system of faction rating decay I'm beginning to wonder if someone like me, a casual player should bother with agent missions anymore. I do alot of stuff in EVE, but try to get 2-3 agent missions done before I go to bed every night. Is this now a fruitless endeavor? Will any progress I make be wiped by the next downtime?

They've taken out standing decay for a bit.

The best thing would be not have factions decay (since only way to currently raise them is important missions)
Dont mind the corp/agent decay, 1-2 missions a day (30 mins) and you keep it climbing, but faction is just too hard.

But the prob with faction is get it to 4 or 5 and you can use all lvl3 agents of all corps in a certain faction... And getting it to that lvl isnt to hard if you think about it..

I wouldn't have a problem with faction decay if u gained faction as u did pre-castor.
As it stands the "important" missions aren't covering it.

decay is fine, its the - standings not going back to 0.0 at 0.1 a day thats the big problem!!!
