As I see it...
The Privateers are griefers. They only fight in Empire, they only wardec 0.0 alliances (generally) therefore the players they gank in Empire are players who are earning isk in Empire to fund the PvP they do in 0.0 they do this in Empire to avoid PvP while missioning or hauling goods and minding their own business. The Privateers do not gank PvP'ers they gank mission runners and haulers, mostly people who do not wish to PvP, therefore they spoil the game for these players, by so doing they are the very definition of griefers, player killers targeting those who do not wish to fight other players and spoiling the game for them as much as possible.
My own theory is that the Privateers are mostly alts of old players who are bored and want to ruin the game as a whole for others.
If they really wanted to "Stand up for the little guy" as the original post they would secure a chunk of 0.0 for open access for this legion of little guys.
The fact they will never do this is an indication of their basic cowardice, nothing to do with politics.
Congratulations on proving you're an idiot, posting perhaps THE most common misconception of Privateers. 'They only fight in Empire' Go check the KillBoards, we fight in low sec nad 0.0 too. However the MAIN reason of Privs is to pvp in empire. True enough, we gank haulers and mission runners; are you telling me you wouldn't if they passed you in 0.0?
We are ruining the game for NO ONE. I think you're taking the thread title a bit seriously. Post with your main, or please, shut up.

I think that ENIGMA met PVTR in Stacmon the other day, killed 2 Command Ships and a BS for the loss of a Command Ship... The ENIGMA Command Ship is up on your boards, but the other three ships seem to have been forgotten about...
Ah well, all four deaths are on our boards, so no skin off our noses! 
How many times does it have to be said? Alot of privs don't post thier losses, alot don't post thier kills either. They are NOT mandatory. However I suppose alot do post thier kills, so that part of the board is pretty accurate, however, yes, the losses probably aren't too accurate. Does that clear it up for you?
