What's going on in empire, what is causing the price of zydrine drop LIKE THAT???
I just cant see where the problem to the price drop is, i mean the zydrine is as far as i know still is found in 0,0?

I think it was all the ex-ascn ppl selling tonnes of it after the fall of that alliance  , as thats around when in dropped, it possibly will go back up with all the big losses in this war going on

it's because BOB and the coalition aren't really fighting eachother but instead are having joint giant mining ops in 0.0. arkanoughts ftw...

well i really hope so, the prices is making 0,0 mining not worth anymore, specially with what you can loose(hulk).

The New Regions are the cause.
The rats there don't have any bounty, but drop alot of alloys and compounds. So to make money out of these, people are flooding the market with the so won minerals.

Actually, as has been mentioned many times, Zydrine prices have been inflated for so long now that everyone has gotten used to it. Zydrine wasn't really intended to be the same price as Mega, it was originally 'designed' to be around the price it is now.
Low-Sec miners can't really complain either, as when Zydrine was added to low-sec ores, it was truly an 'addition' - the other minerals produced by those ores were not reduced to add the Zydrine. So you've still got more in those rocks than you did when there was no Zydrine at all.
Frankly, the issues with low-end minerals are more worrying, and if in fact the price drop on Zydrine is because of the drone compounds, could continue to get worse, as the supply of low end minerals hasn't grown in step with the highends.

more than 150 capital ship went down in the last month alone.. those takes TONS of Tri, Pye and MEx...
to replace them, 0.0 er will have to buy them,
and since Zydine and mega (mega still useful in other stuff.. and yeah, rarer..) is what they usually bring to empire to sell...
Zydine prices drop as 0.0 alliances dump them into empire
Low end prices goes up as capital builders scramble to get the low ends to replace the lost capital ships...
(and they take ALOT of low ends..)
hence the supply for zyd increases as the surplus supply is useless without the low end... = price drop...
and since supply for low ends is low, prices raises....

My amazing theory is that team 0.0 is holding a mass selloff to make up for all the POSes and capitals theyve been losing lately. And that basic minerals have gone up because a lot of people who would otherwise be mining veld/scordite have been doing salvage and invention lately due to being more profitable.

I see too many threads like this about Zydrine prices.
I'd like to present to everyone a hypothesis. While the new drone regions do produce Zydrine via Shooting for Minerals, there is another factor people seem to ignore.
Warp to 0!
When you eliminate risk, the rewards aren't so great. It is far less riskier to go in and out of 0.0 space because of Warp to 0.
While I will admit, the drone regions would have brought down the price of Zyd a bit (Maybe to 2.5k-3k each). It is in all reality the fact that people whined for less risk (and the fact that to obtain that lesser risk, flooded the servers with bookmark instas) that Zydrine is now significantly lower in price.
You guys wanted warp to 0. Now you have it, at the cost of your fat wallets.

I highly doubt warp to 0km had anything to do with prices. Anyone whose not a complete moron had an insta set in .0 before those got nerfed, and zyd hasnt exactly been cheap for the last 2-3 years when people were usin em...

It sounds good in theory, however the price cap is 3.6isk/trit and we have never seen trit reach that level yet. If that price cap hits though, mining veld would be more profitable than kernite so I dont think it will happen anytime soon

WTZ? the only logistical factor here is the size of the plush compound with its ~30k isk/m¦ (glossy not that far behind anymore). compared to mining, you can skip the hauling part and still make more cash than a hulk on crokite (~300isk/m¦)

This has nothing to do with the war.
Its the new regions it's really that simple, if your mining zyd for profit find a new line of work, zyd price will continue to drop till it reaches what npc corps pay for it.
