Originally by: Phoebus Athenian Aside from that, to my experience people have alts in your alliance that are older players. I have seen Ivy League alts getting implicated in 0.0 PvP/disputes... If you don't want privateer wars, make sure your members don't go around and instigate;)
If you see any IVY ships in engagements they shouldnt be in, please contact our diplomats or any director. This includes suspected supply trips in 0.0 wars not concerning IVY etc.
However, IVY fleets will proactively engage any war targets in any space, negative standings in 0.0, and negative standings in low-sec at the pilot's discretion, as well as react to aggression. Negative standings are earned by repeatedly attacking IVY ships, ore-thieving from IVY cans, or declaring war on IVY.

Pretty funny. It's like getting mercenaries to attack a local High School. And whom ever hired them (doubt anyone did) is even lamer then the hire.

So, what a player does on their main should translate into a problemw with Ivy, even if Ivy had nothing to do with it? And the method to deal with this isn't to contact well established directors, but instead to hire someone else to wardec us?
What you're advocating is as cowardly as the Privateers.
::*****s neck:: I'm going to get blown to pieces in this war, I see it coming. But with any luck, I'll be taking ships with me.

Respect to Skunk, our late night op that you scored heavy blows against last time around was a good lesson on how *not* to engage and definitely how not to engage a nos-domi ;) Despite his whooping our asses he gave mods back and our crippled gang made its way back home. Hope to see you again (and to be in the winning gang this time).
Yarrr come try gank me again - Will be interesting to see how good they been teaching you. And dont tell people about me giving the mods back it ruins my reputation :)

The ISD news post you link to - which incidentaly might be worth peeps having a look at as the ISD interviewer asks some pertinant questions which i often hear in these very forums - clearly states we retracted the war dec from you as Surrep was asked to leave the Ivy League alone during their birthday week so as not to ruin the celebration. Which we did happily. Even evil alliances should be left alone on their birthday.
However, unless you are the queen of england, it cannot be your birthday now.
I personally welcome the chance to take a shot at this alliance, which so shamefully harnesses the noobs, subjegating them to the whimsy of so called 'professors' who are growing fat on the proceeds of forced mining operations. The noobs must be released from their chains of bondage, and though i will destroy the noobs ships with some regret, I will relish the popping of the professor-jailers flimsy show off ships (HACs and the like). Shut your books and dust off your combat ships you crusty old buggers. Come fight...... if you can remember how.

Tonights very long op, showed what kind of force even new inexperienced players can put together when there is good leadership and a lot of motivation. I was very proud of my squad and the fleet, and I while I am saddened by the lack of targets, I am also thankful we had a sort of "dry run" to iron out the kinks of handling such a large fleet, and I do thank Privateers for giving our new students a chance to learn a part of what EVE is all about. Had alot of fun. We just really need some suicidal Privateers to show up.

Well only a few of us were about, but we had a plan to take on 15-20 of you. 40 was too much and you pretty much covered all hit and run possibilities.
So we postured in local, waited till you bogged off then walloped some other slimeabgs in local.
Nice to see you brining it though :)

My balls were most blue. I will say you made your best efforts to pick weak-minded padawans from the safety of the all-consuming deathswarm of noobosity, but thankfully excepting one lost straggler and a little case of mistaken identity (resulting in some sort of Ken/Ryu police maneuver on a certain pilot) we survived.
I could see the jedi hand waving -- "You want to tackle me...130 km is a fine distance."
Really short of a suicidal pilot or a fairly solid counter-blob we would have been a silly target, can't blame you for not engaging. Here's hoping it gets interesting

Edited by: Remedios Sonrisa on 04/04/2007 13:49:05 Dear Mr. French Skunk,
What we do with the n00bs is not for you to decide. They chose their enslavement. They now have been thoroughly brainwashed so that even if you were to "liberate" them from their mining, gopher, and other serf-like duties, it is guaranteed that they will crawl back to the forced labor ca...er, Univesity, and ask for more menial chores. Working them to near death is what makes them bloodthirsty so that when there is a war, you see the wandering blobs that seek retribution from external sources. If we weren't an "evil" alliance, then you would not have such memorable PvP experiences vs. us! ....

Edited by: Masiona Templar on 04/04/2007 14:27:50 My first war in Eve. GIVE ME SOMETHING TO SHOOT AT DAMNIT! The 5 of you couldn't take our fleet of 56? For shame, Le Skunk, for shame indeed! The poster who said you would be swarmed by a gang of 30+ newbs is right. Everyone was just itching to to get at someone - so much so that we had an unfortunate incident with condcord caused by someone's haste.

The Eve Uni Zergfleet consist mostly of pilots with small ships, cheap fits, and low skills. Most of our Zerglings are very green (heh heh). I am sure the higher skilled Privateers could bring out their T2-fitted ships and have an even fight if they can get a 10-man gang together.
Looking forward to some nice fights, and good training for the students.

Remember boys and girls. This is just a game! A very engrossing and complicated one, but something we all do to have some fun and excitement. Apart from the isk traders on ebay, most of us use our isk to fund our fun, and what better way than replacing clones, ships and mods after an adrenaline fuled few minutes of pew pew?
I can't stand mining, i've bored myself of missions. I've been in 0.0 and flirted with the politics of alliances and soverignity and 7mil ISK bounties. Nothing in eve has given me the enjoyment of The Privateers Alliance! It seems many in Ivy agree and we'll happily and cordially enjoy this game together as opponents.
The bigger alliances, leading noobs away from the true path, laying claim to and putting up barriers in this galaxy we 'play' in will always be a prime target. Keep eve for everyone, not just to provide some 2003 char, with Small Civilian Tackle and a Capital Ego II a Mothership to fly around in as compensation!

Wow talk about negative attitude and your corp/alliance tickers are not on and you are in a noobcorp
No reason to have that kinda attitude. I'm sure PA doesn't regret wardeccing Ivy League --- It have always fallen to a few to sacrifice for the good of many
