Anywhere I build MY outpost, it will be conquered if I dont have tons of friends to defend it...
How can a player realize his dream without beeing part of a pvp ally ! even with that, it will fall someday :'(

Your a godamn carebear, you want an asset worth somewhere near 60 billion iskies, and you don't want to defend it? Simply get yourself under the protection of a big alliance, that's the only way to do it.

The OP does have a point though. I think that if I spend all the money on building the outpost, I should have an option at the time of construction to make it conquerable or destructable. That is if an enemy trumps my sov will it be conquered when shields drop or will it continue to see damage into the armor and hull levels, eventually being destroyed. True it would mean that the investment is lost and you can't return and retake the station, but it also means your foe can't take it over and enjoy the fruits of your hard work.
