LOL. If there was an increase in player activity way before the idea of alphas the belts would still be empty. So..... ya |

"LOL. If there was an increase in player activity way before the idea of alphas the belts would still be empty. So..... ya" -well... the player activity has increased and the new players are called alphas (generally), so... alpha blood it is.

I really doubt a couple of extra relatively unskilled ventures have had any real impact on ore availability, tbh.
Maybe try moving to grown-ass adult space.

Alphas don't mine enough to strip belts, also 1.0s have low amounts of ore per rock... go to .5 still highsec higher risk of gank, higher reward. Welcome to eve. #HTFU

Adapt indeed. Nobody is suggesting you pick up and move to nullsec - just move away from the newbro systems. I went through at least 4 empty highsec systems today with lots of ore belts. Empty. Meaning nobody even in local. Moving to those systems sounds like a perfectly reasonable way to adapt. I'm sure they're not always empty, but there's no shortage of low traffic highsec systems.
Or you can gank newbro miners in highsec. Nobody's ever tried that before. |

Bully for you. They also really only consume a token amount of ore, so I'm not sure what point you imagine you're making here.

I don't get the hate here. This guy wants to kill alphas. What's wrong with that? If it makes him enjoy the game more that's completely up to him. I doubt 1 lousy player is going to make a dent in the alphas, and he'll blow up lots of ships making more demand. Maybe we can get him to take some friends with him =D.
That said, the new buffs to the Orca, and the new porpoise are probably to blame for your loss in ore. You're much better off relocating to new high sec areas. Those unskilled alphas aren't going to knock out the number of asteroids you are implying. |

Those werent alphas that cleaned your belt. And im pretty sure the npc miners will just laugh off a velator.
Signatures wer cooler when we couldn't remove them completely.

Frankly I have the same problem of finding asteroids because of those NPC miners.
I can't post images here so I will post a link of an image in another EVE forum which someone complained about the same issue:
NPC miners
If you have time just go and watch those NPC miners in action and you will understand. |

Correct! I log in at around 23hs game time, about 12hs after daily server reset. I can assure you that in Lonetrek, Metropolis and Domain most belts are empty, and those that arent empty have only regular veldspar asteroids.
I wont join code! im a miner! i dedicated my game to mining, i can mine almost anything with t2 strip miners and t2 crystals, i have my exhumers skill at V, think it cant get any better than this other than getting better ships... but why get better ships if theres no ore to mine!!! I insist, im not complaining, just adapting to the new universe and its reality. And again, im trying to make my own corp grow, i wont join some big c*ck Corp that lives in Null-sec just to make more money quickly. Im patient. |

If anything Alphas have Omegas to worry about Omegas are better in every way. Just wait until they move up to Omega.
A tanked Mack can mine 5X as much as a max yield Venture with max Alpha skills (if not more due to the huge hold+mining drones)
Personally I would rephrase "Murdering Alphas" to "protecting your area from competition" . Its like saying I have to protect myself from viscous animals rather than I want to kick puppies. |

Are you prepared to go negative in security status to kill these miners?
If so, fit a ship for pvp, go out and shoot the **** out of these guys. Drive them back under the rocks from which they came.
Drive them before you, rejoice in the lamentations of them losing their cans and their ships to your fury.
Read their silly drivel in the forums about what you've done to them and troll their posts.
Or you know, join CODE and do the same thing.
Teach these snivelling snowflakes the meaning of playing in EvE...... |
