Weka Dart Caldari Band of Sisters	Posted - 2007.04.05 22:15:00 - [1] I understand that today was not a good day for the alliance: BOB carrier caught in querious and killed (ratting maybe, not sure as RA tend not to make noise on forum but rather do it ingame) Understand that the French Connection (TCF) had a victory against BOB in a fleet fight. BOB apparently lost another engagement in querious, only about 20 or so kills there. Finally, one of my friends in FIX tells me that they were invited to join a KIA gang in 3-f, but not given enough warning to gather numbers and consequently the KIA fleet and the few FIX warriors that managed to get into 3-f from E-D were slaughtered by a combined northern gang. Apparently Kiaeddz watched the whole thing happen from 400km above the E-D gate and my friend in FIX was not at all impressed by that as he lost his command ship. Anyway GF to all involved, may the flames burn brightly.

I don't know what's up, but there's a thread on the topic. I mean honestly we couldn't even lock targets; my mouse wouldn't even move with the insane lag. I don't know what CCP did to fark things up this patch but they screwed something up bad. I'm surprised anyone got out at all; I expected with the lag we had that it would be a 100% casualty rate, as it was literally impossible to do anything. And this was in a relatively small fleet fight on a state of the art computer. Anyway, whether or not they were affected by lag... we won't know until one of them posts here. Regardless, they had like twice our numbers. --- High quality pics of ALL EVE ships!

My internet has gone down today twice (normally never), everyone on our vent complained about lag on vent, and eve did some weard things today.. Unsure .. Let me shed some light on that one... Word got around that TCF + others were hitting a POS in K-9. The call was made out to allied corps to see what kind of force could be mustered up. Sadly, not many people were online, and only a 35-man gang (BoB + a few D-F-C), not very BS-heavy, made it to D4, awaiting jump in. EXE also mustered up a 15-man or so gang that came in later. I think there were also some CoRM guys already in K-9. 35-man gang jumps into around 80 hostiles (not sure of exact numbers, could be more), battle ensues, allied forces make it out of the bubble with losses (not sure how many, but more than a few), and they warp out to a friendly POS (this is where I died, as I had previously warped out to repair, and was already in warp back to the fight when the rest of the gang left the gate). I'm not exactly sure what happened after, but from listening on TS, I think the allied forces engaged the capitals, without success. As this was occuring, the EXE component jumped in, but were faced with the still active gatecamp, and took quite a few casualties themselves. After some mucking about, it was realised that we were going nowhere fast, and regrouped at the POS. Fight was fun despite being outnumbered and outgunned, and lag wasn't too bad. I just wish I could've stopped my ship as it was warping to obvious and inevitable death (the "stop warp button" thread in General Discussion was inspired by this unfortunate event).
