Considering the coalition wins so few battles, this post will boost moral enough for them to come back and lose another 50 capitals when an empty ship yard comes out of reinforce mode.
And Bob gonna lost another baby titan and to safe its honor against they gonna post a photoshop ((proof)) that we shot a empty capital ship array and lots of capital ship for nothing and after we gonna spot another capital ship array with another Mothership or Titan and...etc etc etc...
This war gonna be a very loooooooooong one...lol
1. Your english is horrible. 2. Proof or stfu 3. Their is a thread about this. 4. Watch the fraps. 5. Read what the goon guy said on scrap heap. 6. If you mean the leviathan, that was a April fools joke. 7. Where is your proof that you "killed a baby titan"

BOB apparently lost another engagement in querious, only about 20 or so kills there.
Finally, one of my friends in FIX tells me that they were invited to join a KIA gang in 3-f, but not given enough warning to gather numbers and consequently the KIA fleet and the few FIX warriors that managed to get into 3-f from E-D were slaughtered by a combined northern gang. Apparently Kiaeddz watched the whole thing happen from 400km above the E-D gate and my friend in FIX was not at all impressed by that as he lost his command ship.
Anyway GF to all involved, may the flames burn brightly.
Oh noes... Bob is loosing .... Bob is loosing lol
From Bob's KB Thursday 05 April 2007 [10 battleships destroyed] [8 battleships lost]
Oh noes... lol
I don't know about the Fix fight... I do know our guys looked all around Fountain for targets and found only a couple.
Might be a time for a road trip...

Edited by: Twoside on 06/04/2007 06:19:47 It's apparent KIA and FIX misjudged the situation or they wouldn't have jumped into a bigger gang with bigger ships then themselves. I myself was very surprised they did. That said, big props to the FIXians who came back in another ship after they were killed, even when the battle was lost for them from the start, they didnt bring cheap ships back either. Respect for that.
And yes, the lag was nasty, but DS pretty please, always have damage messages turned off, maybe you will get a bit higher framerate ;)

Fight was fun despite being outnumbered and outgunned, and lag wasn't too bad. I just wish I could've stopped my ship as it was warping to obvious and inevitable death (the "stop warp button" thread in General Discussion was inspired by this unfortunate event).
I dont know if that was a purposefully censored report but from my persective (which was Fcing a componant of the multi alliance gate camp on the D4- gate in k-9) I find that report completely inaccurate. Im not flaming here but I find it interesting that you downplay the actual engagement so much. I think the force was more like 50 or so ships. Yes the did arrive in waves which I think had more to do with arrogance than tactics...
Heres my report of the action...bit long but details are lacking in most reports on COAD
UNL/TCF/K all had dreads in system and were putting several pos's into reinforced, including one capital ship yard pos. The rest of southern feyth has been claimed by the coalition and most of the stations to the north seem to be very quiet (at least at my TZ). One pos was put into reinforced without any hassel from the locals. K-9 has been pretty much locked down or contested for about a week now. Bubbles were deployed on both gates entering system and station. Most forces were concentrated on the D4 gate, including the katet support fleet. Tbh we didnt really expect to get a fight over it, Feyth has been so quiet all the southern coalition pvpers are either ratting from bordom or moving into paragon soul and estoria looking for kills. The reason I mention this is because we were fairly light on BS ourselves. I think UNL were heavy tho.
We got word of a possible bob gang moving towards k-9 so I sent out a scout in a covvy to get some definate info. The report came back with a BS/T2 heavy gang. There were over 10-20 bs and when they did jump local jumped by at least 40-50. That was just the first wave.Successive waves also jumped into the camp. 3 in all I think.
The statement that they made it through the gatecamp with no casualties is a complete fabrication. I would estimate that they probably lost 80% of thier bs in the first 3 min. Some of the lighter support got through but due to excellent co-ordination between the coalition forces most/all bs, HAC and bc/cs class ships never made it out of the bubble. Alot of intys appeared to simply bolt and abandon the bs to thier fate.
I was in communication with our dread pilots the whole time and they basically put the pos into reinforced as we were mopping up the first wave. They then reported being intercepted as they prepared to redeploy back to a friendly pos. Most made it out but I think 2 TCF were engaged. Dont know what happened than cose the second wave jumped through, Suffice to say that someone dealt with the minimal tacklers that made it through. Probably UNL I think...
As the smoke cleared my scout in D4 reported numbers of BOB, FALL, .EXE and various other bob pets milling around the gate/ falling back and redeploying in system. It appeared chaotic for the Pro Bob forces, but before we could organise a counter they bugged out. Local was still hovering around 130 (previously was around 70-80 before fight including hostiles docked)so we decided to probe out those in system. To our astonishment we found them at a pos... Only 4 bs had made it through and a few ceptors and pods, numbering about 20 odd. Several may have docked at station or attempted to.
All in all this was a clear and concise victory for the southern coalition forces. Feyth has been falling consistantly into our hands. This was another major step on the path of victory. As a side note you probably dont hear alot of whats going on in feyth due to the fact most of the participants either dont speak english or dont frequent these forums.

Let me shed some light on that one...
35-man gang jumps into around 80 hostiles (not sure of exact numbers, could be more), battle ensues, allied forces make it out of the bubble with losses (not sure how many, but more than a few), and they warp out to a friendly POS (this is where I died, as I had previously warped out to repair, and was already in warp back to the fight when the rest of the gang left the gate).

We wouldn't have jumped if we had known you had an extra 30-40 pilots nearby. As far as we knew, we had like 25 people + some FIX pilots, you had 35 I think, and we wanted to engage that. Problem is you brought twice our numbers and we didn't know, and we were pretty disappointed you did because we were looking forward to a nice fight. Yeah you took losses- about 80% of your force id say. Looks like you were one of the lucky ceptors to MWD out of the bubble and bolt.

The report is in no way censored. I just reported events as I experienced them. The fog of war prevents one from giving a completely accurate report. As for downplaying the engagement, well, I'm sorry, but that was a (very) minor skirmish, so there's really nothing to downplay. As for numbers, maybe if you took the time to read properly, you'd see that I did say the force was of 50 (35 BoB and D-F-C + 15 EXE).
Originally by: PaddyPaddy Nihildarnik We got word of a possible bob gang moving towards k-9 so I sent out a scout in a covvy to get some definate info. The report came back with a BS/T2 heavy gang. The gang wasn't BS heavy. 10 at the most. Local couldn't have jumped by 50 because there wasn't more than 35 people in gang, and EXE came later. There were only 2 waves.

Again, take the time to read properly. I did say we took losses, but I didn't know how many. As for the inties, their goal was to go tackle the dreads, hence why they didn't stick around.

Exactly Drantis. Of course we came round the back way, duuuhhh. After chasing KIA around for a few days we knew you'd bolt so something called strategy was used ;) You wouldn't warn a hauler in empire it's about to jump into a 10 man gang would you? So we're hardly going to send you an evemail with exact gang size/composition asking if you really want to engage.
Personally I was very suprised to see you all arrive since your empire scouts followed us to low sec. You should have known we were moving. Also amusing was EddieKIA sitting 400km above the gate - was he there to rate your performance or what?
Anyway, don't worry. I'm sure you'll catch us soon and have a merry slaughter. These things have a habit of going back n forth. This time was our turn for a moment though and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Heard that before More seriously, it's good to see you guys fight for your playground though i'd personally appreciate that you cut the endless and useless local smacktalking contest.
To the topic now, i don't think it's worth commenting the skirmish vs BoB and co. cause there's nothing exceptional in toasting a whole gang in a large bubble.

as far as the smack talk goes we dont mean it. Ill admit were a bunch of guys who like to mess around with our foes. We usually say the dumbest things, and try to get a rise out of u guys. None of it is for real. Please play around with us in local :) We can have in depth confersations about chicken :)

Wow... that's like, a lot of peeps I've hugged in this thread... and one of them is nude... and Swedish!
Edit: My Viking (Norwegian) corpmates are going to have my ass for that one.
2nd edit: That doesn't sound right, does it?
