Im a Galente and have been doing level 3 missions for Fed Navy. I know very well that any faction corp gives you faction loot, simply Navy has a large number of agents who give kill missions so its why i chose it.
Now, i've had tough luck finding good agents in good systems. Everyone wants to have >Q10 agent in a 0.6 or 0.5 system, that has no low sec systems around.
Of course there is no such thing. All Galente navy level 3 agents better than Q10 are in systems that have a low sec next to them, so that equals a lot of missions refused. Im really not interested in agents in 0.9 and 1.0 systems, regardless of quality its simply to high for good payouts.
Now, out of curiosity i check the Caldary Navy. Guess what, several Q15 and higher level 3 agents in systems with 0.6 and 0.5 that are tucked away nicely and have no low sec systems anywhere near. As one would assume, pilot count in those systems is high, and numbers of killed pirate and police (NPC kill count) ships are ridiculously high.
Is this fair?

Just because you're a Gallente doesn't mean that you can't work for the Caldari Navy.
And you go to those systems and see how many times your connection drops between coming through the gate, approaching the gate and trying to get out again. I'd estimate about 5.
I got the hell out of Caldari space, it was unplayable, no i'm working for ol' Lallencard in Auvergne.

Edited by: Red Rumurder on 06/04/2007 17:24:25 i have 6 agents all in high security not in 0.9 and 1.0 systems. 4 amarr 2 caladari. each agent is lvl 4 qty +18-20. For me I spent a few days going through every corp under both factions, while in map so I could set destination on all of them and see how they were. I am sure if you did the same thing I did for my factions I bet you would for yours. None of my agents are command agents but to be honest you don't need them their are others out there that give lots of kill missions.
I have run gallente missions with my alt and there are agents with no low security around the agent system.
we don't need CCP to have any more reasons to move agents. The only agent moving issue they should resolve is the stations with 4-5 lvl 4 qty +20 agents. Seriously split them up among other stations in same constellation. There is no reason why CCP should put the 4-5 best agents in each navy in one station. Sorry about the little side rant.
So to answer your question no its not fair but when has anything been fair.
PS
Work for one not both or you'll go no where Amarr/Caladari or Gallente/Minitar. You want to run missions for all 4 factions run missions for Sisterhood of EVE. Only corp that CCP has admitted raises all 4 factions but not by the amounts your use to normally

Only for hardcore mission runners this game is Caldari-online... Go check PvP, you will rarely see caldari ships flying out there(1 out of 5 at most).

I know i can go run missions for Caldary Navy. I dont want to. The lag is horrible. And a dont want to do Caldary stuff as RP aspect.
Why should i have lower incomes just because im not Caldary, and dont want to do missions for them? Not only do the Caldary speed blitz trough missions in their missile spewing passively tanked, ships, they also get better agents? A bit too much, i think.
Im currently tied up in empire 'couse of implants in the loco. Im already bored of empire, but i have to grind it till i get jump clones, some basic skills, and enough cash to be able to survive losses low sec and 0.0 entail.

Come join us Amarrians, we've got lots of nice L3 and L4 agents in fairly quiet systems.
My usual L3 agent is in a 0.5 system not too close to low sec. Peaks at about 20 players, usually only half that are online. Oh, and the background is purdy.
(Yeah doesn't answer your question, but agents rarely get moved around by request. The only time I can remember was the Caldari L4 reshuffle when Motsu and some other spots were getting out of hand.)

It's Caldari.
Ok, don't run missions for the Caldari. Run for Gallente and earn a little less. And have less lag. Or run missions for the Caldari, and earn a little more, and have more lag.
CCP have stated that they are going to move some agents around. Otherwise, if you want an efficient mission running experience, get a Caldari alt, that's just the way it is.

Edited by: Red Rumurder on 06/04/2007 17:48:24 none of my agents are navy. dude open up your standings tab, ***** (c r a c k) open a beer and LOOK.
if you don't want to do caladari do one of the pirate factions. honestly look around they are there. there are good non-navy agents out there and no one including me will tell you where to go. we like the low local counts and good pay. you want what we got then put the work into it.
sorry for coming off as a **** i just haste laziness and people who are always looking for the easy way out. who knows you may find something better than what we know.

Thanks for the tips, i already plan to check agents of other Galente corps, one day. If the map wasn't so laggy i would have done it ages ago, still seeing a corp with one command or two sec agents isn't very encouraging.
I'm just saying that a level 3 quality 18 agent in a 0.5 system surrounded by 0.5+ systems is a money making machine out of control. And there are a number of similar cases in Caldari state. More rats killed in 5 systems there then in the rest of EVE combined.

and imagine the lag there. i avoid that as much as possible. by the way are you not running lvl 4's cause you can't or choose not too? if you can run lvl 4's and would like to look into amarr message me in game and I'll give you a corp that is good and under used but you'll have to find the others.
also I make more isk on my qty +18 agent then my qty +20 agent, why i don't know just do

Lower system sec = more isk. My +19 in Auvergne (0.8) pays barely 60% of what my +18 in Aramachi (0.5) pays.

He,he, thanks, but im still newb with 2mSP and have barely afforded my Myrm and +3 set. And since i intend to follow the "dont fly what you cant afford to lose", i wont be flying a Domi anytime soon. And to be honest, im not looking forward to it, compared to Myrm, Domi is so ugly that eyes burn.
CCP has really made a poo-poo with the quality/system sec payout calcs. In the end, everyone gravitates to the best available agent in a "safe" system, and lag ensues. Either create new agents that are comparable to existing ones, and are in distant systems so the constellation and region nodes can relax a bit, or change the entire system.

You can look beyond command and security agents to get a lot of combat missions. Intelligence agents are predominantly combat, Public Relations are about 2/3 combat, and Administration are 50/50. The old guides about agent mission ratios are way out of date. Combat missions are a lot more common even from "non-combat" agents.

There are plenty of good agents. You don't have to run them for the navy. Try www.eve-agents.com and a little less whining.

Wrong. COMMAND and SECURITY type agents (of all factions) give a lot of kill missions. Navy has nothing to do with it. navy also give out administration and courier agents.
ANY corp for any faction will give you a faction ship. You don't have to work for Navy to get a Navy Megathron. Any Gal corp will do.

WRONG.
Cat (0.68) Cat VII - Moon 4 - Material Acquisition Mineral Reserve
Agent: Armant Britlarcier

Kador Prime (0.62) Kador Prime VIII - Moon 1 - TransStellar Shipping Storage
Agent: Suvaere Oloere
Security. Q19
Pochelympe (0.62) Pochelympe VI - Material Acquisition Refinery
Agent: Aisnanaert Seyngoropus
Security. Q19
Pochelympe (0.62) Pochelympe IX - Federation Navy Assembly Plant
Agent: Daut Elleilette
Security: Q18
and so on.

Yes it is, since you can do the same with your Federation agents too. You just need to look for them.

hehe had to point it out but i know what you mean. i was having a bad day at work too.
yes there are ammatar agents.
if you want a faction ship you go work for any corp under the 4 major factions, amarr, caladari, gallente, minitar. the npc pirate factions, sansha angel, gurista etc give ships as well.
play around with the likes and dislikes of corps in your standings tab, if you want to run some pirate ones look them up see who they like then do damage to them and your good.
have fun

1 out of 5, with 1 out of 4 empires? not factoring the pirate faction ships? Not so bad, even if Caldari are the largest group of players.
And are we speaking of small scale PvP or fleet?

First... try looking here to scout out agents:
http://eveinfo.com/agents/
Second...
Try the Federal Intelligence office if you're looking for a high-sec Galliente mission corp. Intelligence and Internal Security agents primarily give combat missions, and the FIO has a IS lvl 3/+18 in Arasare and a Int lvl 4/+18 agent in Auvergne. I don't think either borders any low sec systems.
