my suggestion: only way to terminate character is to transfer character over it
There is absolutly no reason why this couldn't be done
People is abusing this ability to reset
a) scam-reputation
b) suicide alts
c) meta gaming
there should be choices and consequences.

Babies get aborted every day.... i see no problem in keeping that in game lol.
Also, if your dumb enough to fall for a scam..... sad day.
Suicide alts.. they are paying forthe game time to train these people... so no.
meta gaming.. if you let a 2 day old alt into your alliance major fleet and command comms. your an idiot.

2 days old, 2 years old.... doesnt matter, still you can reset yourself with this.

I have alts that I plan on getting rid of because I want to retrain them under the influence of the Cerebral Accelerator booster. In the mean time, the alts server well as price checking alts. They are otherwise useless. It's a legitimate use of deleting alts.
I also occasionally like to play with the new character generator and experience. It has changed a lot and several times over the many years that Eve has been around. Input from experience players is encouraged by CCP. |
