Hello, I'm Serathu, the Captain of CRC responsible for the Corporation, Organisation and Alliance Discussions forum.
As has been brought up, there are increasing numbers of people using one-person corporations to circumvent the alt-posting rules and write trolling/flaming replies to threads. We are also aware that there are some legitimate one-person corporations within the political sphere of EVE and the voice of these shouldn't be suppressed in this forum.
Posts that are trolling or flaming in nature are already covered by the existing forum rules. If you see a post that you feel is against the forum rules, please email us with a direct link to the offending post so that we can take any necessary action.
I must remind you that posting trolling/flaming replies to a post by *any* forum user is simply unacceptable and leaves you at risk of receiving a forum warning or ban.
Rest assured that we are monitoring this situation and making every effort to keep discussions clean and within the forum rules. If you feel that you would like to assist us with this, please do send in an application to join the Interstellar Services Department.
I will leave this thread open for people to ask any questions regarding this however please do remember that discussions of specific situations are not permitted on the forums and should be conducted by email.
Thank you for your support!

Originally by: Pilk What of the proposal to utilize this (or another, newly-created) forum exclusively for alliance-level discussions, and use another forum for mixed ones?
Why doesn't the forum code AUTOMATICALLY block people from posting in noobcorps or without corporation or alliance tickers showing?
Why do links to Kugu's site (to name one example) or usage of terms related to certain classes of trains get instantly moderated, whereas killboard links stay up for days? (My email is down, so I'm not able to send a request in to CRC to clean up the thread as I normally would.)

I cannot comment on changes made to website as that is not my area.
With regards to your other question, please do understand that we are volunteer moderators and as such cannot read every post made - this is why I ask that if you see something that you believe is against the forum rules you email us with a link to bring it to our attention.

PS: My corp is a 1 man corp, and it had to be made for trading purposes.
As has been stated, we are not taking action against people who are in single-person corporations. What has been said is that the existing trolling/flaming rules cover the current problem posts and that they will dealt with by these rules. What we need are alerts to posts that break these rules so that we can deal with them promptly.
Constructive posts from single-person corporations and any other corporation member for that matter will be allowed in this forum.

Please stop suggesting ideas for changes to the website - it isn't a discussion for this thread and indeed no changes can be implemented quickly. If you do have any suggestions you can always email us.

To clarify since people seem to be a touch confused:
The point of my post is to answer the concerns that many have raised regarding the use of 1-person corporations to troll and flame in this forum and avoid the alt-posting rules.
These posts fall under the existing trolling and flaming rules. There is no rule change being made here. 1-person corporations will not be treated differently to 1000-person corporations with regards to their right to post here and the way in which their posts will be dealt with.
The key is that I am asking you, the EVE Forum users, to be more active in notifying us of any trolling/flaming posts so that we can deal with them quickly.
In addition, I am asking that people cease posting trolling/flaming replies in response to posts from 1-person corporations. Trolling/flaming any forum user is unacceptable and will be dealt with accordingly.

Even though they're usually pretty obvious it's quite annoying and serves no constructive purpose.
*snip specifics*
A specific rule in place to stop that would be a fairly simple and useful change.
Please read the Forum Rules, specifically item 15. Email us with a link to the offending posts so that we can take any necessary action.

Ok, thanks for all of your support and thoughts regarding this.
As I have said, this is not a rule change - members of 1-person and indeed any size corporations are more than welcome to post in this forum provided that they follow the Forum Rules and the CAOD Rules with emphasis on the sections regarding trolling and flaming.
If you see a post that does not follow these rules please avoid replying to it and instead email us with a link so that we can take any necessary action.
I'm going to lock this thread but if you have any further questions please contact us by email.
Thank you!
