Welcome to a thread which concerns the raging war which literally consists of half of the known universe. It has been a while since I went political but I am rather interested on hearing your thoughts. I know many of you BoB haters are out their however I would like to keep this civil and limit any action down to simply insults to otherĘs mothers.
To begin, I was in a buzzard. As you often are when travelling in BoB space as well as their friends YouWhat and Fix and I noticed several cynoĘs up in specific ladder formations up to Deklein. I have yet to decide whether I was to post these locations as they maybe a normal Dread/carrier/mother ship route they use. I know they are at war, but I feel they are actually after D2 and not FLA and IRON. I would like to hear your thoughts on this matter. Including some rather shady back handed deals with YouWhat and MC. was their really a promise of space for manpower.

You have chosen a very delicate matter for announcing your return in this summit, mrs. Tenyo.
There are many views and opinions on this matter, but they better not be discussed here as the guns are still blazing. You can say that the time for this summit to deliberate on this matter has not yet come and we will look stupid if we fall into forms of speculation and accussation. Many younger "candidate" - members (alts) of this summit might throw nonesense around and stirr things into worse behaviour and none will be the wiser.
If terms of peace might come, this summit is open to discussion on this matter, until then, let the guns do the talking and us "mature"-members of this summit be quiet in here.

I must say your right. But the battle lines and intelligence states that the war rages on. Guns fir from BoB's Titians no less in FLA space. With 3 confirmed mother ships piloted from different Pilots. I must say. This troubles me deeply. As the dark empire grows as D2 seems so submissive. With Pirates moving here nor their through Venal and Morris Mimi taking fire with Plax alliance intent on taking D2 space. The north is in turmoil and it seems ready to break. Blood fills this space and I see no end.
More alliance march towards the wing of BoB. I only hope this does not give them the monopoly they seek.

You know it would be nice for it to be actually acknolaged just once in these flame bait threads that there are other people fighting like crazy out there. I'm no friend of Bob but the only reason there is any success at all up there is becasue of some extramly hard and coruagous fighting by a hell of a lot of people other than bob, which Bod cooly just suck up all the credit for. Makes me sick tbh.
And fyi. The north is nowhere near wilting. But it serves its purpose for destracting peopels attention from other areas where the situation isn't so rosy.
This post is not affilated with my corp alliance blah blah.

It is sickening, but just let this subject go mr. Amasaicia. Like I said before, the guns should sound harder then our words in this summit.
On both sides there are jokers. I've talked to many summitmembers, of whom most will stay sensibly quiet. They very much realise that every alliance in this war has their lions too. Those are the soldiers, of we diplomats can only imagine what bravory must be in their souls, that see eachother whites of the eyes every day now on the many battlefields that New Eden counts.
Trust me, the sensible members of this summit will wait 'till the guns go silent, the lions have roared and the jokers ridiculed themselves enough to have become outcasts.

Redbad, I thank you for you kind reception as I come back to the summit and ask for an update on the relations between the alliances. It has been a while since I have seen the war front. Back in the days when IRON was a force to be reckoned with. It would appear that BoB has grown and although I fly my carrier through space. I am not an offensive person. However the market is now gone. My trading and diplomatic tied have been cut. I would like to renew my knowledge of the political tied between the nations. My older brother is the blood monger. I am merely a medium between two interests.

IRON is still a force to be reckoned with. If Deklein falls, we'll be there to retake it once BoB is destroyed.

To be fair its the Coalition primarily who have deemed all the non-BoB entities fighting "pets" or extensions of BoB.
I'm sure they're help is appreciated by BoB. If anyone is trying to take away their credit though, it's the Coalition.

To be fair, it's BoB who has been using the same tactic since their inception. It relies on finding a weakness in the enemy's alliance (or alliance of alliances), and usually thats pride and ego. People like getting credit and attention for their achievements, deny them that and they'll eventually get discontent and angry about it, and that's when BoB tries and drive a wedge between those alliances. BoB can't take on to much entities at once, that's why they'll always try to break up the enemy's alliance with propaganda and clevery placed remarks.
Once upon a time, IRON would solely be known by BoB and allies as the G sidekick, later RZR became the IRON sidekick, and even later RZR got promoted to D2 sidekick. It's demoralising for the members of the 'sidekick' alliances when they are doing as much or even more damage to a target, but their 'parent alliance' gets all the credit. It's a tactic that delivers results, and I don't see it end anytime soon, not even after this war.

I hear the sound of chatter and propaganda in these halls but no real show of faces. I have yet to see the men who deal with the forces. I would like to representatives to put forward who says who is an enemy and who is a friend.

Most of those men you seek are likely on the battlefield now. Only the diplomats of smaller, more insignificant, an mostly neutral corporations, like my own, are fully represented at the moment. They can hardly do more, other than speculate and chatter about this war.
Perhaps you get lucky and someone will show up from the larger alliances, but I wouldn't count on it. I heard their members hardly see the outside of their ships these days. Haven't seen or heard mostof them in the past weeks, especially regarding your subject.
We finally do however have more long-limb roes sandwiches left in the canteen now Goonswarm members are less present. Do you care for a lunch? My treat ofcourse!

As a diplomat my views aren't necessarily those of lead but I shall never the less respond to Tsunami initial question.
All members seek to acquire recognition and seek to find a place they call home. In the past certain actions of large Alliances failed to recognise the efforts made by un-represented corporations from around the meeting table. In fact these groups were not allowed to be represented or achieve recognition therefore descent arose. I can only speak from a personal perspective but I know I voice the view of many ex-D2 friends. I understand others reasons also exist but I can only voice my own.
In response to the present political situation may I quote the following: Is the enemy of my enemy not my friend?
Diplomat.
