Two stupid ideas I been toying with...
1). Ore Thieves...
How about allowing players to booby trap their cans with explosives so that if a non-ganged person opens can then it self-destructs with damage equal to the amount of explosives used.
2). Fire (sacrife) Ships...
Used in the Real World to great effect. Basically allow players to load up a ship's hold with special explosive and then when you near "target", self destruct your ship causing a massive explosion and great damage (a not-so-smart bomb) Member of the Empyreum Corps. |

That module is already in the game, and I'd LOVE to invent it. Causes -100% hull and not-so-good blast iirc though. Enough to pop a frig, but bs and even some cruisers would survive.
Needless to say, it isn't available in the game. Now if I could only remember the name... It had an icon similar to the doomsday devices.

Swap can with shuttle , add explosives. Oh hell yes

Open can. Bomb goes off. Thief dies. Miner gets concorded for doing something that utterly stupid. Life continues.

I would imagine damage would be based on resist and percentage, making a possible death blow may be to much.

i think i know which ur talking about ...iirc it was called "Hellstorm" litterally exploded your own ship and caused high dmg within a certain area....wasnt ever released. it was just on market
