Yes, change it to "Fix" or "The Fix"....
Querious sounds really akward, especially to change the name so sudden....

Aye! Change it back to the Fix! I just don't identify with this new querious or whatever the heck name it is... neither does anyone else. IMO the dev's have better things to do then sit around for hours and come up with new names for systems... (like fixing bugs AHEM) Not to be nasty about it but c'mon! Whats goin on here?

I vote to keep the name "Querious" !!!
I find it quite amusing that the region with the largest concentration of carebears was renamed to "Querious".

I'm amused by this, because the CFS does more PVP then all of you combined. So if PVP=Carebear, then I say engage carebear stare.

Shame or nto you know people always shorten the type. It's just troll food.
Theres no reason why it was changed to that, Just change it back and forget about it.

since it looks like ccp isnt going change it back to the fix why not go the whole way and name Fountain****ious, curse could be *******iounis, and maybe empire space could be called homosexualous?

I'll add a vote to change it back to JK-FIX or "The Fix" or just "FIX"
I don't really live down there but I zip through from time to time.
Mostly I want to see it changed back because:
A) Just has a better ring to it
B) FIX is how everyone knew it anyway
C) Of ALL the things that need changing in EVE why in heaven's name is anyone in CCP spending even 10 seconds on thinking of changes to stuff like this?
D) While it is a bit of a stretch to find the word similar to a possibly offensive word in English clearly many have made that connection. Regardless of intent a game like this should steer clear of anything that smacks of bigotry. Political correctness run amok? Maybe but this is a public game with a broad user base and so an effort should be made...if only for financial reasons...to tip-toe carefully in such areas. For my money I find the word inoffensive and barely took note of it but I can see this being used as flame bait in the future (e.g. "All you q-u-e-e-r-ious peeps hangin down there", etc.)
This will be an interesting litmus test to see if CCP actually listens to its player base. Here you have an issue that is near universally agreed upon should be changed back (I think so far one person has voted to keep the new name?). It is also really just a cosmetic change and has no balance impact whatsoever and is not about one faction petitioning for a name change. Everyone just wants it put back like it was.
I wonder what CCP will do...

I remember cutting my teeth on the 50k cruisers in The Fix... So the Fix has sentimental value to me...
Querious sounds more like Queeers R Us to me...

Yeah rename it, you should have seen the looks I got when I said to some corp mates "I'm in the que*r" they never looked at me like that when I said "Im in the FIX".
Rename it and stop funny looks now !!!

I donÆt go to "The Fix" all that much, infact I donÆt think IÆve been there at all other than cutting through on auto pilot, And I donÆt really care about the name but as far as requests go I donÆt think this one is asking to much. 1500 members who call that region "home" want the name changed back to something that they are used to, think about it, 1500 members, even if they are using all 3 characters per account thatÆs 500 people paying subscriptions of more or less 8000 a month. Its not about changing peoples attitudes towards a word, we're not fighting oppression here (unless you happen to be a RP mini) they just think the name sucks, and now I think about it im inclined to agree; Curse, Stain, Fountain, Outer ring, Cloud ring, Syndicate, vale of the silent, Scalding pass, Fade, Venal, Great Wildlands, Paragon Soul. So many cool names and what do these guys get? Querious.......wtf is that?

Yeah if your going to rename the fix at least make a cool name. The Fix works as a great name as itself and is how Querious is referred to.
