LOG IN TRAP OMG! a Pilgrim witch btw never showed up on the overview warps in to the belt and makes me go boom. He had me half way through armor before I ever saw him. How do I know it was a log in trap? he wasn't in system... and then he was in and also at the belt right away. Oh and he was coming at me from no where (no object to warp from) __________________________________ Stay still! This wont hurt... Yarr!

Warp to the planet, scan down the right belt in my malediction, warp in at 50km away... Eh well, maybe he won't notice me? charges... 20km away, he's still there! 15km... Locked, 10km... 7354m! YARRRR! SCRAM RANGE! Pew pew pop... Check my overview, he's only got t1 drones out... I say in local: "How'd you kill me so quickly with t1 drones?" The answer comes back: "I didn't, this system is high sec" With horror I realise I've just done all this in a 0.5 system... That and falling asleep whilst autopilot was active. Wake up the next morning: "Hmm, where has my ship gone, and why am I in a station 52 jumps away from where I want to be?" Kal. ---------------------------------------------- Attention Deficit Disorder? Don't be stupid, I can keep my mind on one subject for as long as I... Ooh! Shiny!
Damares	Posted - 2007.04.22 12:03:00 - [36] well, in my opinion this was pretty dumb, especialy seens how i havent seen an exhumer in days, well before, i scanned a system and 3 belts came up and a skiff on scan, one of the belts was an ice field, bingo! i warped into the ice fields and there he was, 2.5km from the warp in point so i locked him, scrammed him and began opening fire, i doubted id get a good randsom and was more interested in the mining laser's e.t.c he then warped off..... i thought he had stabs but he claims i didnt scram him, if i didnt scram him then that was pretty stoopid of me, but i think i did ^^ i always triple check my warp scram. stupidest thing ive found in low sec, a hulk afk mining/macro mining in a 0.3 system with 4 belts in it....

So, none of my old overview settings are available to me for obvious reasons. In addition, I had been up for the past 40 hours or so. Work, household errands, kids. These things kept me up. I was mondo fatigued and I could barely see my monitor. Which all lead to the friendly fire incident where I helped Triumvirate take down a gang member. In my sleep deprived haze, I forgot I was playing on a fresh install of EVE. And I couldn't read the name of the person I targeted. I compensated my corp/gang mate for that, but it was at that point that I realized I should get some sleep.

So i warp to it to see what it is. I warp in and oops, it's a moon very very close to the station with a deathstar on it. Plus two carriers. I got pwned

I was tacking ore from a mining op with 5 people (BC, Cruisers and barge). I played a little bit with them and was able to have an agression timer with only one single member of their corp. Great! I warp on him and destroy his ship. Then his corpies went mad and all of them except one open fire on me. In panic i engaged the self detruct, CONCORD came and pop them all. I was so happy i took the time to get all the good loots from their wrecks in front of the last member of their corp. He was not trying to take the loots, he was just watching.. I laught a lot at them in local. Then as i engaged the warp to the station to secure my loots... the self destruct occurs and the last miner laught at me. Very embarassing...

Then i started to wonder why his shields wern't going down again. I'de auto locked on a drone on the other side of the gate and had been launching missiles at him since ariving. Managed to get back to gate and jump, tail planted firmly between my legs. Moron. .............................................................................................. Went into -Y- space in my Rapier, finally found a ratter not safespotting/cloaking in a belt. He was in a Myrmidon. So I warp at 20Km, decloak, lock his drones and his ship... Sounds ok right? Well, then I webbed his drones, started to shoot the Myrmidon, thinking it was dieing already so started to approach him to get the loot faster. Then I noticed he wasn't dieing, he started to lock me (had SD's) and he was going quite fast - thus noticed I webbed the wrong target - so I started spam the 'keep at range' button. That was close, if I made that decission 1 sec earlier I could have gotten out of his web range. That was my 1st solo fight in the Rapier lol. However, had crap skills in the mods I was using, so bbl guys .

Smacked about 30min. when D* in Eagle arrived, smacked another 10min. till an alt arrived to race me down. warped from SS to SS till he was ***ed off. when B arrived in a malediction. smacked another while when B* engaged me... i popped her, but forgot that SNOWY were all in gang... didnt podded her and instead me warping away, Sprungle warped to the pod and popped my caracal.

Like the time I killed a caracal, BB and ferox in a wolf. Or the time I engaged two noobs in battle cruisers in a rifter (or maybe punisher can't remember) and killed them both. The mind boggles. I got myself amazingly ganked a few times though. Like the time I attacked a couple of intis in a ferox (note to self, intis are for tackling) and huge gang jumped in and nuked me. ------------- Ar? I've lost quite a few ships through either not checking the sec status of the next gate or forgetting my own sec status. The last one must have been very funny for the Vexor and Osprey that I dared to jump through to the next system. They took the dare and follow me through, then laugh their arses off while Concord pummells me for entering a 0.5 system. The young fighter had a hungry look, the kind you get from not eating for a while.

Well once I was warping to a gate to assist 2 of my mates (Drake and Brutix) against 2 Geddons, Harbinger, Enyo and Vengeance. We were all blinking red, they werent. I come out of warp, hear who's primary. Prophecy is very small compared to a geddon I found myself 500 meters from. Drake pops. I'm still reluctant if I should shoot, it's obvious suicide. Brutix pops. Ah what the hell! OPEN FIRE! Pop... Sentries got the final blow, and they never asked for killmail... P.S. Forgot to add that was day after loosing Prophecy, and i just I hardly managed to scrap this one together from isk I had...

I had a scanner guide open, and I headed in to low sec space. All was going well. I hadn't been killed yet, and although I had thought it would be, low sec space was not so scary. I was two or three systems in to my hunt, when I found a system with a few active miners in. I spent a few mins narrowing them down to their respective belts, and warped in. As I got to the belt my target has just warped out. He obviously didn't see me, as he was back a few mins later. WOO HOO I though! I engaged my MWD to close range on him, activated the scrambler and all my weapons. I was at range, orbiting just like my plan had suggested. I forgot one seemingly vital point. I forgot to lock target. Off went my prey, straight back to the station. Although this logged as a failed kill, I was encouraged that I had actually found a target, and got in to position to do the job. After that disappointing start to my pirating, I looked around some other systems. Three hours later (please remember I am a n00b at this) I final tracked down another target. I was really pleased with this as I'd not seen another ship away from guns in those three hours. When I got to the moon he was at, he seemed to be inside what at the time I described to myself as a "big space bubble". My first thought was that this must be a deadspace complex, but from the outside... how wrong was I. BOOM, my ship now in pieces. I now know this was a POS, oh well. I hope to do better tonightà any tips?

Oh and he was coming at me from no where (no object to warp from) Pilgrims = force recons, you didn't see him coming because he was cloaked. Since a recent patch, recon ships are in a different overview category from regular elite cruisers and most overview settings don't have them checked, so that's why you never saw him in overview. Probably his gangmates you ganked, which explains why he knew exactly where to warp to. --=-- I turned off "show corp/alliance" because, to be frank, I'm ashamed of them. They'll be turned back on when I'm somewhere more suitable for someone of my talents.

So today I decide to hop into my thorax and go for a route of around 5-6 low-sec systems with one 0.5 in between. So well, I go thru my dest and in one system I notice a rokh on scanner in one of belt groups. I think....hey...hes certainly not npcing, so maybe....oh yesss! mining?, I warp in, and see a Rokh also with a '-' standing to us slowly going for the roid. I go 'omg roar!!' in front of my PC that I even set a wrong orbit at first, I scramle, mwd and start shooting....then I get instantly get webbed/jammed/scrambled/killed....my first thought was that the guy had 4 mining lasers and 4 torps with a bunch of target painters to insta-pop small stuff attacking. Then I check killmail.....I cant describe the feeling, but Im certainly sure thats the fresh feeling of the deep stupidity. Even tho rax costed like a BC to fit, I was sitting back and laughing like crazy looking at killmail ---
Feng Schui Minmatar The Ninja Coalition Phobos Alliance	Posted - 2007.05.12 15:30:00 - [59] 1) being bored, thinking i could take out an abaddon with my arbitrator.. he called in backup from a drake (would have won ) 2) chasing a maller to a gate, seeing a flycatcher at the gate, warping through, seeing a bubble camp on the other side 3) doing an info on everyone in the system (10 pilots total).. 8 of them where in the same corp. see a rupture on scanner (and a drake, arazu, bunch of other t2 owchies).. head to the belt.. boom goes me (and they said i need a better tank, i went down too quick .. even though i killed off 3 of the arazu's t2 hammerheads before i popped) 4) engaging a stabber in low sec.. he escaped (nerf MWD).. then i warped to a station to "dock".. owch. 5) scanning out and engaging HAC's in my arbi 6) scanning out and engaging myrmidon's in my arbi yea... My opinion is my own, not of my corp or my alliance. If you have problems, we can have a "who can do L4 missions faster" duel >:)

That time you tried pop me in high sec with a Hurricane from 20k away with drones.......without kill rights, that wasnt quite dumb enough to make the list no :P And dumbest thing I ever did was losing a stabber to the sentry guns, but first and last ship ever lost to'em at least ------------------------------
