I installed Eve on Fedora 25 using wine and everything seems fine except there is one big problem. No matter what i do, i cant see any textures. I even tried downloading the entire game files but still all the ships, station and everything else shows up as black.
Tried starting in dx9 Tried downloading all the games files Reset cache Not sure what else to do
Does anyone have an idea what could fix this?
Any help would be appreciated. |

What graphic card and driver? Running F25 (64bit) with NVIDIA prop here without any issues. |

libtxc_dxtn lib32-libtxc_dxtn Dunno what it's called in fedora. Search your package manager for s3tc. |

I had to install 32 bit version in order for textures to work. x68_64 version was not enough.
dnf install libtxc_dxtn-1:1.0.1-1.gitef072983.fc24.i686

I just wanted to say thanks for all the help
This indeed was the missing texture problem.
libtxc_dxtn lib32-libtxc_dxtn
By installing the lib32 it fixed my issue in Fedora 25 |
