I've got a few Gnosis' (Gnoses?) and I've been playing around with them on this character. Problem is, when your skills get to a certain skill level, a Gnosis doesn't do anything as well as something else you can buy. If you want a drone boat, you'd get a Vexor/VNI or Myrmidon, or if you want a laser boat you get an Amarr BC, etc.
I figure, the best thing Gnosis is good for is an alpha or otherwise low-skill character. Your fixed skills in this ship are probably going to be better than the variable skills you have to train into Omega level for. Also, Gnosis' are pretty cheap right now: About 40 million isk. And they are the only battlecruiser you can fly as an alpha, I think.
So here's my Gnosis fit for my alpha alt:
[Gnosis, True Believer]
Mark I Compact Reactor Control Unit Fourier Compact Tracking Enhancer Drone Damage Amplifier I Drone Damage Amplifier I Extruded Compact Heat Sink Damage Control I
Large Shield Extender I Limited 'Anointed' EM Ward Field Limited Thermal Dissipation Field I Medium C5-L Emergency Shield Overload I Medium F-RX Prototype Capacitor Boost 100MN Y-S8 Compact Afterburner
Focused Anode Medium Particle Stream I Focused Anode Medium Particle Stream I Focused Anode Medium Particle Stream I Focused Anode Medium Particle Stream I Focused Anode Medium Particle Stream I Core Probe Launcher I
Hobgoblin I x5 Hammerhead I x5
Infrared M x5 Core Scanner Probe I x16 Multifrequency M x5 Cap Booster 400 x22
I went with active tank because in order to use passive amplifiers to their best effect, you have to train amplifier skills, which are capped at level 1 for alphas. I went with shield fit so I could put damage amplifiers for lasers and drones in the lows.
You could remove the probe scanner and put a drone link in the spare high, if you didn't want to probe things. You can also go with better DDAs and Damage Control once you get your skills up. This is more for people who haven't gotten even that far yet. And of course you can use higher meta drones, I just haven't bothered yet. I'm not well-versed in which faction drones are the best.
It's not cap-stable, especially with the 100mn AB, but you can get up to 713ms with it, and get your traverse up and avoid damage that way.
Also, there are no rigs in this yet. I haven't decided whether to try to get my cap stability higher with rigs or to do something else with that. Advice is appreciated.
Finally, it's fit for rat resists in Amarr space, so this is a PVE fit.

Gnosis is a "Jack of all Trades" . If you own a Leatherman tool in real life, you're probably a fan! It isn't best at anything but it's reasonably good at everything. It's major shortcoming is that it's a limited edition ship that people will be reluctant to risk when the supply starts to shrink and the price goes up. It's a perfect level 3 mission ship for Alphas as long as CCP maintains a healthy supply in game so they can afford it. |

Assuming this fit is for PvE, so A couple things about the fit:
1. Meta modules, never T1 whenever possible 2. Passive or Active shield tank - pick one not both 3. Cap might be an issue using Lasers with active tank. Especially for an Aloha clone. 4. Not sure why 2 drone damage amps. I feel like you'd get more damage from weapon dps mods |

Is an extender considered passive tank? I thought it was kind of neutral. I see a lot of active tank fits with extenders.
