I myself have played EvE before and have come back to the game and my mate has not long started but is loving it! My previous character was sold for ISK before I went to play that other game.....WoW. Bloody bad idea . Now I am back with my tail between my legs, a hard lesson learned! A bit about us... We are both mature players who have real lives, jobs, wives and mortgages. We are looking for a corp who have a lot of UK players and who are noob friendly. PvP is our aim, we are not miners or researchers and we want to get into the thick of the action. We don't talk in l337 and smack, we don't understand it anyway. Any corp who would be interested in taking on a couple of new recruits should know that due to real life we are not online 23/7. We simply want a social corporation who can offer good advice and some pvp fun. We don't want handouts and we don't expect anything from the corp other than a fun atmosphere, a tolerance of drunkeness and a war or two! Myself I am training to fly covert op's ships and my counterpart is currently close to flying interceptors. Everything else will come later. Thanks for taking the time to read my ramblings. But still the time we spent down there gave me my first taste of hard won isk from trading/mining and also the first of many run-ins with the rogue pirates that were (and I believe still is) plaguing that region. Still it was only the help from the then small corp. that stopped me from going bankrupt and ruining my career. So now I offer you, the chance to join a corp. of likeminded pilots, that value friendship and is hard working towards a safer EVE by hunting down pirates in whatever form we may find them. Our corp's average age are close to 30... In short, RIA is a EVE corporation that is a part of a multigame guild community. That means that you by joining us always will have a "home" in any gaming scenario. If you at some point in the future would end up being tired of EVE, you dont have to leave the friends you've gotten to know through your time in our community, but you can remain a member and join one of the other gaming sections - or even create one yourself if you so wish. Miss Blonde	Posted - 2007.04.24 10:06:00 - [25] Hey there, we are not a bunch of UK players, but our corp is mostly EU-based atm. Our senior players all have startet in the same corp, Welsh Commanders, and therefore where risen with a Welsh-(UK-)Mind. Does that count? :P Anyways, our english is very good, we're the same time-zone and we're fun to hang out with, so check this out--> Our alliance has members living in 0.0 as well as in empire. We have a small constellation out in the new drone Regions and if we rat we rat there. Our alliance as well as our corp are currently searching for members and constantly growing. We got mostly mature players and I haven't run across any retards in there yet :P This is important to many players for some reason ;) Our corporation is run quite liberate, so you have the freedom of choice as it comes to your profession. Our senior players can support themselves and therefore don't require isk donations or high taxes. Our current tax rate is as low as 2%. Since both our senior members have changing schedules, there are no daily operations or gangs, but we do plan occational operations (mining, fun pvp, serious pvp). Some lvl 4 group missions are prolly gonna happen as corp ops (voluntarily) too. Maybe lvl 5 and 6 when those come out, but we'll have to see that after the relevant patch. Currently we don't run too many missions, but we are very experienced in it and have run millions of lvl 4 missions solo as well as in groups, so you can rely on our help and advice if needed. We hope to see more mission runners in our corporation too. With the patch changes in the gang and lp systems for agent missions this might become a good way to run a corp. Especially if we can supply others with items we get from our lp's gathered. For fun pvp we take out cheap frigs and cruisers, for serious pvp we use mainly cov-ops spies and recon ships. Even thou we might do stuff together 24/7 I think we're a fun bunch of people to hang out with. Though, to estimate wether you'd like to join us or not, I'd be happy to have a personal chat with you so you can get to know us better. Just convo me, write me an email or come to our public channel BH-DL and bombard us with your questions.
