Once upon a time, players who did the industry thing for any sizable entity complained about the privateers' global unmotivated wardecs, and this was always met with dozens of privateers calling them whiners and telling them to evolve. What goes around, comes around, kids. Time to evolve.
your not a singled-out victim. This isn't the first time something has been adjusted for the greater good at the cost of short term gain for some. Here are some examples:
1) Warp to zero & removing instas. This was supposed to 'kill PVP' if I recall. All the gankers and pirates HATED the idea of it! Has ganking stopped? No, Players evolved.
2) Killing the t2 lotto. All these players who invested in it for years and years and go nothing. What a shame. Have people given up on R&D? No, players evolved.
3) WCS nerfing. This was supposed to break EVERYTHING. Mass gankings, broken consentual PVP, halting all industry, and forcing everyone to be a pirate. Has that happened? Again, players evolved.
We could go on all day....
Most Privateers say they are not about easy ganks, and thats just BS. If that were true, and you really just wanted to PVP, you would go to lowsec or 0.0. Why don't you? Because people are ready for you there. Its ALL about easy ganks and anyone who says otherwise is a liar.
But Privateers is still one of the largest Alliances in the game right now. No use dieing over this. Evolve. Do what other corps have to do: organize, set objectives, work together, do anything. Why not go Merc? Why not take a stab at some space? Why not live on the universal fringes of lowec or NPC 0.0 and pirate your hearts out? try to control all the 0.0/empire entry points or something. Otherwise, its just a band of obsolete degenerates.
if you just want to shoot stuff, go play counterstrike. if you want to play eve, stop whining and evolve like everyone else.
Well put, im sure PA will find a way to adapt to this as well, despite all the whining. "I don't think anyone really understands Quantum Mechanics."
