So my Rokh gets banged up in a mission.. a little into structure. I fly to the wrong station and dock.. this one had no repair services nor my armor repairers. so I undock to this message:
[ 2007.04.19 04:47:56 ] (notify) The ship you are piloting is too damaged to be handled in space. You do not have the skill to manage it in its current state.
So now I can't undock the ship, I can't repair the ships.. I can't even repackage it even if I wanted to sacrifice the rigs. WTF? This is in empire too..

tried putting in a amour plate or bulk head reinforecer? it should let you undock. -Siggi- ""PvP" isn't only direct person to person combat, it can be very indirect. Selling an item on the market which somebody buys from you is resulting in another guy not getting a sale." Oveur |

Bring duct tape next time
Its the reason why Mimitar ships are still in the air.

Not at all! It's not a bug. The simple fact is that your ship had negative HP. If there had been repair service at the station, you would have seen it saying: -xxxx/xxxxx HP.
This was caused by that you either; had a plate on when you docked, which you removed was in a gang (gang bonus goes away when you dock).

I think this issue also occurs if the only thing keeping you out of negative structure is the extra HP from your Mechanic skill.

must have been the gang bonus.. which sucks because structure was still at 87%. i'm almost positive this is what happened now, that the armor went into negative. absolutely sounds like a bug to me.

I had the same thing happen but all I had to do was fit a hull repairer and undock, then fix myself in space. It seems once you get below a certain hull percentage you can't undock unless you have the means to repair yourself.
Just thank god you didn't dock a Freighter with hull damage. Having 900Mil worth of ship stuck in a station, unable to undock, with no repair facilities and no slots for repair mods would suck!!

It's not a bug, its a feature, this message was implemented because such situation created problems in the past. (If you dont believe me, search in the patch notes of some of the cold war builds -----------------------------

That is not true.. I fly a shield tanked caldariship and still got this message after beeing a bit careless (scrammed, volleyd and praying while trying to kill those scramfriggs). Down to like 40% structure before I got out and docked. Now me beeing a cheap person I wouldn't pay for the reparation so I bought a repper and tried to undock and got that message.
I had no plates on to start with and I soloed the mission, ergo no gang. I did not have any -hp according to the repairshop.
I did rep the scructure with a few hp at a time until I had enough to undock and start my reppers. If the station wouldn't have had a repshop I would have been stuck.

For sure, the issue is that you removed a powerdiag from a lowslot to fit the rep (or removed a shield extender or something similiar).
Seems strange the repairshop didn't show you negative hp though. Am I forced to have any regret? I've become the lie, beautiful and free In my righteous own mind I adore and preach the insanity you gave to me |

With a friend's tip, I used to solve this problem by relogging and hammering the undock button as the game loaded. It worked :D

I think it has something to do with certain bonuses not always being applied to ships, even from mods.
Fit an industrial with a cargo expander, then look at its cargo capacity, then get out of it and look at the cargo capacity again. The second time it will have reverted to the default value for that ship class, regardless of mods or your ship skills.
The same thing happens with PG and CPU, if you get into a ship that would normally be overloaded on mods (the ship has 120 cpu worth of mods, and a base cpu of 100, which is brought to 120 with your skills), and undock too fast, not all the mods will be onlined properly when you get into space, since your ship was sitting in the hanger with 100 cpu. (I say properly, b/c I've had drone line augmenters that showed online but didn't provide any bonus, but that may also be a drone bug, not a fitting bug)
I could imagine a similar thing happening with your armor value and the hull upgrades skill, although I've never run into your problem before. However, I also run the my armor repper a few cycles before I dock (I almost never undock without one, as an amarr) if I end up bugging out with 0 armor, so I don't think I've ever been in quite your situation either.

I've run into this problem on an Incursus once. Seemed really weird to me, having just, you know, *flown* it into station w/ 40% hull left. Dropped 1k into the repair station and it let me undock. I imagine if you get stuck youd just have to pedition it. :\

Happens to me all the time, (I spend so much time in structure damage its not funny..). I usually just 'leave ship' and then re-activate ship. That will get you out of 'dock' because as we all know you cannot use your repair modules while in the station.

A GM had told me that relogging almost always fixes it, letting you undock as normal. ------------------- My opinions (ie, all of my posting here) are not my corporations. Nor should it be taken as such. |

I've had this problem too, couldn't undock my Exequror from the station ... admittedly my armor was none-existent and the structure was down to 87%, but still.
Was kindda annoying not being able to move.

Nope, I removed a Ballistic Control System module that shouldn't have anything to do with this, and I only have BCS's and Shield Power Relays in the low..
Even so, I tried to undock BEFORE I fitted the repper as well as I intended to go "home" and do the repping, just docked to get shields to 100%
