I only bother with AFs if we're doing a frig gang, then I take either my jag or my wolf. Jag if we need more tackle or if the gang needs to move fast, wolf for more damage. Other than that the only time I fly one any more is an arty wolf for anti frig support.. and usually I prefer my thrasher for that.

The only "Good" af's are Minny imho. Though the Ishkur can shine under the right conditions, cruiser sized weapon on a frigate? Yes please.

They are good for anti ceptor/frigate and to hold on to tougher targets. They have fast lock time and harder to hit than stabbers for example. Some of them deal quite nice damage aswell as being able to tackle.
