I do mostly kill missions for Minmatar Republic Fleet Security and I just got to lvl 2 agents so I use my NPC Rupture setup: 2x 720mm Howitzer (EMP ammo) 2x Med Focused Pulse Lasers (Microwave) 2x M-12's 100MN AB EM Hardener (fight a lot of Sanshas) Small Shield Booster 3x Power Plant Management 2x Reactor Control 2x Wasps (always forget to use them)
She runs at 1km/sec pretty easily and kills things fast. I could go faster with overdrives but I couldn't get those one-shot kills if I wasn't running 720's so I prolly save time overall (plus I'm not so much into powergaming agent missions). Later on I figure to refit for torps/cruise missiles to kill bigger rats, but this works well for now. I also keep a Mammoth around but I haven't had to use it. I was using a Probe for the few delivery missions that I get but I hate not being able to warp all the way across a system so I've stopped using frig's.
Sure, everyone supports saving Einstein's brain, but when you put it in the body of a Great White Shark, suddenly you've "gone too far". |

Nice to hear all the different ship combo's.
I think I'll go for the
Vigil (for quick and small missions) Probe (for quick and slightly bigger missions :) Vexor (when I can afford it) And a bestower (for those OMG! How much soil!? missions)
Might go for a stabber if I get time to train up to it :)

Try Armageddon with 4 Overdives and 4 Nanofibre mods, Top speed around 400 M/s depends on ur Nav skill (I got lvl5) and 100Mn wmd. You can travel safe around most sectors of space and if u run out of cargo just carry 4-5 Expenders with you. This work pretty good for me :)

Ile stick with my breacher. Works for nearly all agent mission (lev 3)
2xOverdrives 1xMWD, 1xSmall Shield booster 3xBig frigate launcher, 1xsmartbomb as had power/space spare
Give 135 cargo, 500+ base speed 2.5k+ mwd speed. Can do all combat missions (biggest so far 1x55k with 2x30k), by approach to 42k, lock cruise missile to death target. smartbomb/defenders if they are really lobbing large numnber of missiles back. Missiles can be a tad expensive, but bounty on ships alone covers them at buy price (and ive just bough myselfs some bp's )
Lets you easyly run 3x lev 3 missions at once and collect time bonuses on all of them.
Worthwile keeping a probe or cagro crusier arround for the slightly bigger cargos.
Love, beauty and profit to you all Gallente, forever free be.

vigil is fastest ship for agent missions that dont req a lot of cargo...
the mass or whatever matters as it has to do with MWD/AB's now also minmatar ships do have the advantage in speed so they are one of the best ships imo to use for this...
also Agility matters a LOT because the cruiser/BS is slow in turning and is slow to get into warp... now if you look at the seconds that you have to spend to get into warp, the distance to the gate doesnt matter because any ship with good mwd/ab can go fast...
also accel is an issue too... and frigs are the best.... i would agree that BS might be better then an indy, since you cant put any mwd on an indy support Idea: QuickInfo an alternative to ShowInfo

Quote: I use a shuttle for the < 10m3 missions, there aren't many of these left post Castor but a few.
I use a Vigil for the < 250m3 missions, I can do about 70% of the missions in this ship. With a 1MN MWD I can easily get this ship up to 2500m/s or higher depending on the mods.
I use a Stabber for the kill and < 600m3 missions; and if necessary an indy for the really big courier missions. I usually outfit the indy with injectors & 10MN ABs and can get pretty decent speeds out of it.
The best ship for most courier missions is the executioner. (base speed of 350, the fastest ship)
Have a set of 3 basic overdrives equiped plus one 1MN MWD. And carry 3 basic cargo expander with you. The cargohold is between 93m3 upto 220m3 which works out most the time for lvl2 agents (so far)
It has a base speed of 490m/s (with the overdrives and my skills) and makes 3.3km/s when activating the mwd. When it approaches a stargate it gets up to 2.8km/s speed.

hmm vigil with my nav lvl5 and frig lvl4 gives me base speed with 3 od's of like 550m/s and still have 100m3 cargo
and i can use 1 mwd and 2 ab's getting me to like 7km/sec support Idea: QuickInfo an alternative to ShowInfo

I'd recommend you guys keep using the indy's. Oh and don't use mwd's they take too much sheilds for missions:p Load up the cargo expanders just in case you get a big load for a mission.
lmao and rofl over some of these recommendations _ _ How many pilots does it take to wire a Flux Capacitor? 3, 1 to wire it and 2 to talk about how the old one was better. |

I like my Vexor loaded out with a single 10MN MWD and 3-4 Overdrives on for little cargo and fitted with regular to elite cargo expanders for the larger cargo. So far I've only had one mission where I had to make more than one trip due to low cargo space and the cargo was rediculous but the payout was over 200k for that mission. Took me 30 minutes! All the rest were easily handled. "I can only take so much before I'll blow up my own ship. Hey isn't that what insurance is for?"

Oh I forgot I was rather silly for a while and actually used the magnate for my level 1 and 2 missions - needed my head testing there methinks.
But have to say it was a perfect ship for those kinda missions v v v v fast (stupidly fast compared to a slug like vigil) powerful and not to poor space wise.
Now though - I didnt think Id go back to flying a bs, but I'm gona try a Apoc now as Im struggling with the thorax with space :(
I can also use it for farming pirates in .1 and .2 systems :)
