Just wanted to start up a thread related to what we are doing so people can comment/discuss things here. Realized people who are choosing just to read along can't exactly post a reply in there....but based on the number of views so far it looks like a few of you are interested! Just want to say I'm having an absolute blast with this and am rather enjoying things twisting and turning and not having any idea where this is going. I think we can start a really fun trend with this, and maybe start a new one up every month or something :)

I have wanted to get into some RP in this game for a while now, but wasn't really interested in the politics of the Summit. This is a great way to introduse this character too. I'm into the whole "not knowing whats going" on thing too, I have no idea what will happen next, but its been very fun so far

Really not trying to cramp anyone's style by any means at all, but these might be a lot of fun if we say, self impose them to a certain number of people and certain number of posts, maybe make a game out of it that we can standardize and keep going, so lots of people can be included? This a good idea or a bad idea? Maybe like, 7 or 8 participants per story thread, somewhere around 50 total posts to wrap up each story, you catch my drift? Something like that would be a ton of fun, and these things would only last about a week or so and wrap up nicely, and then another group would get a chance to start their own new story thread with a new group of people. Maybe limit the thread to the first 7 or 8 people that reply to whomever starts it up, and we all agree not to start another one until the preceeding one has finished? This would force people to 'sit out' a round or two so we don't have the same group of pilots randomly running into each other for an adventure every other week ;) ((Then again I'm also really happy keeping it going indefinitely, you know, get this sucker up to 200 posts or something and stick with these people through thick and thin, with storylines weaving in and out as characters seperate and come back together.)) Who knows, I've never done this kind of thing before but I see a totally new idea here for the Eve library that a lot of people have a chance to contribute to. In my own veiw i'd rather leave the sotry rather free-for mand open to anyone, without any endings. much like the Eve universe itself. maybe throw in seom actuly Eve-RP events (such as presidental elections, was) into the story. Although i dislike some things people have put forward, i love the way the story keeps twisting and changing. Sorry i havn't posted anything for a while, but RL sometimes (only sometimes) comes before eve. ----- For the state!
Sythia Grae House 0f Shadows	Posted - 2007.04.21 13:07:00 - [8] I would also like to give you kudos for this idea SChimera As far as any "rules" go, I like both ideas, but so far it has really worked out just posting "by the seat of your pants" so to say. It keeps things rather fresh, and forces you to always think before you post. I feel like if this were to go freely on its own as it is now, people could jump in and out of the story where they need to. There will most likely be opportunities for current players to jump out of the story with out having to be killed, and plenty of opportunities for new players to join in. I say if anyone new wants to jump in, keep watching the thread, and choose the most opportune time.

I am quite enjoying this... nice plot twist with the Darkffox intro... it would require some new perspectives, and participation from current characters, but maybe it is Sythia... just a thought... I hope for an opening here to jump in in a bit, but I'm working on a short that I will be posting to the forum atm first, then we shall see. Great stuff folks.
