Hey swisher...
I found it pretty hard to get posts locked or deleted upto this point. Ive had some occasions that a mod locked my post when i made a real mess of it =P
Anyways, my advice to you is thread lightly ;)

My guess they are as one gm told me flamebait, meaning it's something people will have a discussion about, but due to some people's immaturity on these boards, it will become a troll fest.

This is a real problem though ...
My main account is banned from the forums for no reason at all. I made a reply in the missions forum to the thread about what the fastest ship for agent missions is, stating that it is a blackbird with two MWDs and four medium capacitor batteries... and that post got deleted and they banned me for 2 days.
NO idea why. And they locked and deleted more of my posts today and yesterday, no explanation and for apparently no good reason.
WTF?

Ok, I hate to be a rules lawyer here, but:
Warnings and bans are not to be discussed on the forum.
Such matters shall remain private between the CCP and the user. Questions or comments concerning warnings and bans will be conveyed through e-mail or private messaging.
Seriously people, the mods have an email address for a reason. Email them if you have a problem, don't spam the boards about it. Look at the bottom of the rules page if you don't know the address.

Dont mean to be the barrier of bad news bro..but why would we email CCP when all we get is auto mail replies? Just my thoughts on the matter.. sadly but true

A quick look at the site's rules and policies (which you agree to by using the site, whether you like it or not) will show that this is NOT a democracy. I really wish people will understand this... the site, and the forums, are theirs. They can moderate it however they wish, and quite frankly with the amount of drivel that ends up on these forums daily I'm glad they do what they do.

Strong language? Tolerable. But seriously, who here likes having every halfhearted insult under the sun slung at them and their family by complete strangers? Original or amusing ones, maybe, but just straight out hard language? 
Btw, the best way to deal with Polaris is to ignore them. I've been extremely irritated more than once by Orestes and other mods, but they do try to chip in where it counts. Tbh, few like hearing "You're a crap mod".
Everyone makes mistakes, Polaris are no exception. If your thread is locked or post deleted, just ignore it, and alter your future posts to avoid it happening again.
That said, they can be quite amusing at times as well... .
