Okay... a few things right away...
Shield OR Armor tank. Not both.
The reason for this is that it is better to focus your ship's limited resources on a specific tank and make it as strong as possible rather than split your ship's resources and have multiple mediocre tanks.
The same can be said with regards to Active (see: "actively repairing") and Buffer tanks (see: increase HP values as much as possible).
The hard and fast rule is that you should choose between beefing up your HP values (which helps against massive amounts of damage in a short period of them... such as in PvP) and increasing the speed and power of your active tank (which helps you last long periods against sustained damage... such as in PvE).
With the Prophecy... you want to armor tank it. Why?
- It has more low-power slots than medium-power slots - it has more native armor HP than shield HP - the ship itself has a bonus for increased damage resistance in armor (hint: read the ship traits in the info box).
That cloaking device... unless you doing things in Low or Null security space, there is no need for that module (as you are relatively safe in High security space). In fact, that cloaking device will hurt your ship by reducing your ship's targeting speed (even when inactive).
The rest of your high-power slots are not terribly bad... especially since you mentioned that you wish to salvage while you kill things. However, I should note that with Salvaging Drones and a Mobile Tractor Unit, salvaging goes by pretty quickly. (hint: when all the hostiles in an area have been eliminated, unlock any targets and deploy your Salvage drones... then tell the drones to "Salvage"... the drones will proceed to automatically salvage any and all white colored wrecks in the area without further input)
Now... here is an arguably better fit: (note: for simplicity's sake, I will be using all Tech 2 modules. Please feel free to downgrade them as necessary if you cannot fit them)
[Prophecy, New Setup 1] Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II Medium Armor Repairer II Armor Thermal Hardener II Armor Kinetic Hardener II Reactive Armor Hardener Damage Control II
Medium Capacitor Booster II, Cap Booster 400 50MN Microwarpdrive II Medium Micro Jump Drive Omnidirectional Tracking Link II
Light Missile Launcher II, Inferno Light Missile Light Missile Launcher II, Inferno Light Missile Light Missile Launcher II, Inferno Light Missile Light Missile Launcher II, Inferno Light Missile Salvager II
Medium Auxiliary Nano Pump I Medium Auxiliary Nano Pump I Medium Nanobot Accelerator I
Hobgoblin II x5 Hammerhead II x5 Valkyrie II x5 Curator II x3 Salvage Drone I x5
Cap Booster 400 x16 Mobile Tractor Unit x1
Please note how I have removed all shield modules and replaced the rigs. The rigs are there to increase the speed (Nano Acclerator) and repair amount (Auxiliary Nano Pump) of your single armor repairer... making it MUCH more efficient.
I have also removed the armor plate. Not only does it slow you down, but it contributes nothing towards your ability to repair your armor. This opens up a low-power slot that I have used to increase drone damage.
The rest of your armor tank looks fine... but please note that it does have it's limits. It can only repair so much damage in so much time... so use other methods to mitigate damage and help your tank out a bit. Examples: - Range control: Stay as far out as possible and avoid getting caught in NPC swarms. - Keeping up speed: If you are moving, you are harder to hit. This reduces incoming damage. - Kill the high-dps NPCs first: Self explanatory.
On the medium power slots: I prefer the capacitor booster as it forces you to learn how to micromanage your capacitor power, tank, and optimize target selection (which helps immensely if or when you get into PvP).
You will have to carry extra charges around with you (limiting your cargo space a bit)... but this is a small price to pay for having capacitor power literally on demand and effectively being energy neutralizer-proof (see: Blood Raider NPCs).
The Microwarpdrive is self explanatory. The Micro Jump Drive is something special. It will literally "teleport" you 100km in the direction you are flying in... allowing you to make a quick escape from the NPCs if something goes horribly, horribly wrong. It takes 10 seconds to spool up and is not affected by (most) NPC warp disruption.
The Omnidirectional Tracking link is there because, when in doubt about Drone enhancements, choose damage application over speed. You can add a "script" to the modules that boosts Drone optimal range at the cost of tracking or vice versa.
The high-power slots... well... I like doing extra damage whenever possible. It helps against the really strong NPCs and kills hordes of NPCs faster. I can salvage and pick through the remains at my leisure.
How did you Veterans start?
