Does anyone know of a working tengu fit for L4 FW missions? I'm trying to see if the old stealth bomber strategy can work if applied to a tengu. Basically anything with a covert reconfiguration for cloak, as much dps as possible, and enough tank to survive. Any help is appreciated. |

You really don't have enough DPS with a Covert cloak subsystem from what I recall.
I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

The old stealth bomber strategy still works fine or did at least just before Christmas on Minnie FW missions.
You just use an MWD instead of an AB, when you land turn around 180 degrees and burn off (the way you came in) to drag the frigs out, then manual pilot around them in a big semi-circle.
I just shot the frigs tbh, but I have max skills so not sure if shooting them is feasible with less than perfect skills. The reddit thread I got the strategy from didn't mention anything about shooting the frigs, just manually piloting around them.
It takes marginally longer than before, but I only lost one SB in the mission, and that was the first time before I realized there were now scrambling frigs. Once I used the new strategy it was a piece of cake.
Not done FDU missions so might be different. I seem to recall that there were only scrambling frigs added to Minnie and Amarr? missions anyway. Whereas for FDU missions shooting Caldari, the chance of being jammed was supposedly reduced somewhat. |
