I got my agent standing up enough so that in the corp agents available to me I have a level III agent. I go to that agent and she tells me I need more standing. WTF?

Why would she become available to me if I can't use her or is it a combo of standings?

I needed 2.20 to get the level 2 agent. When I reached 2.20 I found I was not worthy. I believe they round the number, do another mission to get above the needed statnding. It worked for me.

or check the agents info. if there is a field at the bottom that tells you what standing you need, you can't use the agent untill the standing meets those requirements.

If your relying on Connections, also remember that it doesnt kick in until you have a possitive corp standing with the agent, so you'll need to do 1 or 2 L2 missions just to get connections to kick in, then you can move to your L3.

I needed a 4.55 personal, corp, or other standing to talk to the agent, I've a 4.8 personal with my current agent. So, the lvl 3 became avalable, I don't get it.

The 4,8 standing with your current agent doesnt countVery Happy
its the standing of you personally with that agent (probably not high, cause you havent worked for here before) or you with her corp (and thus all agents of the corporation)

Been having the same occurance across the board with my agents/corps.

Only thing is, the display of available agents to you isn't reading its numbers right. I've had some agents display available from opening from the character sheet, (Through the corp button) and the same showing unavailable when I went through the agent's info (Through the corp button).

Relogging has kicked agent availability display both up and down for me, and the Relationship ratings change sometimes when I've jumped through a gate it seems.

Negotiation of 3 shows up on the Relationship info as being level 2, though the numbers seem modified for level 3 regardless.

Pretty much just going by -corp- standing vs. the requirements of an 'available' agent. The requirements are usually only listed anyways if you -don't- meet them as far as I can tell.

Just seems a bit ... klugy is all.

The display on the corp's show-info window seems to be bugged. AFAIK the agent's show-info window is not, and if that says "you need a corporation, faction or personal standing of x.xx" then that agent isn't available to you yet.

FWIW: level 3 agents will usually demand a standing of 3.5 or higher, from my experience. Crappy ones might let you in for less.
Since you haven't worked for the agent yet, that has to be your standing with his corp, or with the faction involved. If you have standing of 3.50 or higher with any corporation, check all of their agents to see if any level 3 is available to you, and check the agent's info details themselves to confirm that he really is.

If your standings are way below 3, but it's showing one available, there's clearly a bug. If your standing is 4.odd, and they're still not available, you must be working for a corp that only has Awesome agents.

I also have a problem with this.
My agent wants an effective standing of 3.35
I worked my standing with his corp up to 3.36, no luck.
I reloged - my standing changed to 3.34 ... wtf?

OK so i do more level 1 missions with the same corp and get standing to 3.64
Agent still wont talk to me.

In the agents show info it lists my standing (agents corp -> my character 3.63)
In the conversation window it shows effective standing 3.6

Nothing seems to indicate why he wont talk to me.
