I'v only just started playing eve in the last few months, in that time i've seen heat -(allmost), probing, mini-proffessions and a host of other things being implimented into the game, that i feel have (or will) make the game better to play.
I know a lot of people here have been playing since day one, and it got me to wondering, whats your favourate addition to the game, or least favourate? How has the game experience changed since it came out? has the slow inclusion of bigger "better" ships and equipment improved the game? If so, how?
No ranting, flaming or pirate stories (i seem to be on the wrong side of far to many of them).

I'm pretty fond of them adding the Drake. Also, invention lowering prices on those t2 mods I keep losing pleases my wallet.

I really think it could be when you jumped you ended up at the incoming gate instead of some abstract location in the solarsystem.

The original conquerable stations.
Nothing did better things for the development of widespread larger scale pvp and the spreading of the population.
It's a pity that ccp overshot their aim by overdoing the logistics requirements for pos warfare and by including unlimited station additions in 0.0 in the form of outposts.

Worst Thing: Removing the ability to fit multiple MWD's on a ship. I miss my 45k m/s Scorpion although i remember it didnt turn so well.

Funnily enough - Warp to 0km!!
I Loathe the days of taking 2 hours to travel 20 jumps (without bookmarks) on manual in a battleship even with a faction MWD fitted... :(
I dont even want to think about the AB indys again - a world of pain... :(

Allthough i did kinda like slowboating when i was in an expendable ship.
And Allthough i did have 5170 bookmarks at one point and used to sell copys (sorrey, the lag was me  )
Not haveing to find the dam things and not haveing to wait 15 minutes for my people and places to load was worth it, none of you WTZ whiners ever had a chance of catching me anyway

My cruise missile rifters - damn nerfed too
My 2x mwd crow - Nerfed too
Cruisers with torps and cruise? - Crap. Nerfed.
Javelin torps - No wait, nerfed
Precision cruise - Also nerfed. Surprise.
I like the raven the most of all additions to Eve, but they kinda had it ingame already when I started.
Maybe CCP's working out ways to nerf ravens even worse than they're nerfed now.

I'm fairly sure that empire was safe when i started playing, Where as now its only safe if someone doesn't pay the privateers to smack you around at gate camps.
Note that i'm not moaning about this, i moved to 0.0 when it happend to my corp...or as i'v come to know it, the easy way out.
Andi for the record, i'm not a fan of the new war dec system. A game wide nerf to one corp...which they will no doubt find a way around anyway.

Very very little. The game has went from being absolutely excellent when I started (if a little stale at end-game), steadily getting worse starting with exodus onward.
A few things were ok. POS were, until they became prereq for sovreignty, BC and destroyers, salvaging (but NOT rigs), etc.
Mostly just endless nerfs and gimmicks with no depth though, built on the bedrock of pure crap that is GTC>ISK and WTZ carebearlandhappyadventuretimeofinstantgratification.

For me it was WTZ. Opening up of lowsec to players who had no other means of getting around there due to lack of instas.
To come (hopefully):
SPOS (small player owned structures). An introduction into POS ownership.
The bad:
Nano nerf, left me with a lumbering giant transporter (or should I just call it an easy target).
Missile nerf, just after I had finished training the skills to use them
