With 0.0 I have always felt it was up to the players to form their own Concord and assist a limited amount of people and police NPC 0.0 areas. A blue community that can thrive in npc 0.0 will draw lots of attention which means more pvp opportunities. I've now accepted that most people want a magic unicorn to appear and open a wormhole that leads directly to the jita undock.
I find the threads where people complain about lack of content extremely silly. I've come to the conclusion that lots of pilots don't understand we are in a mini universe where we can have a part in creating content of our very own.
Maybe we need more NPC 0.0 type systems where blue parties will have to build partnerships in order to do mega combat sites. if the sites are rewarding then im sure people will jump at the chance to have a look.
so you live in null and want concord to be put into lowsec this wouldnt affect your game at all, on the other hand we have highsec players wanting to turn lowsec into highsec without any consideration to the people who live in lowsec.
what exactly is your issue with lowsec considering you dont even live in lowsec?

IMO,LS could use improvement.
They are geographically a very narrow band and have many restrictions on engagement mechanics, alongside rather poor system value or opportunities to develop them.
They try their best to interfere with the enormous volume of material transport between HS/NS, but there are many ways to bypass their efforts, and the engagement mechanics tie their hands.
I dont see LS living up to what I see as its design purpose as a buffer zone between HS/NS.
(Not including Faction Warfare systems)

You could have some sort of jove spatial distortion event which pushes some stars together to twin star systems which have minute special properties like baby WHs , reducing the overall number of systems but not destroying assets |

If average # active players is declining, the cluster feels bigger, space feels more empty, less of everything is going on around you.
I think putting some areas off-limits would be a last-ditch effort to force more player interaction among the remaining players, after other methods of bringing in more players have failed. Along those lines I'm concerned about "#EveIsDying" implications of this statement in the "Next steps in NPE" CSM meeting notes (pg 40):CSM notes wrote:CCP replied that there had been considerations for making each empire just have a single starter system and school instead of three. The CSM was generally supportive of this idea. It's easier to support 1 per empire and explain to new players where they should go, but if feels like a step on that road, making EVE smaller. |
