Having been a member of Privateers Corp and now in 0.0, it was a lot LESS safe in empire for me. 0.0 can be fun, but the whole "real men only PvP in 0.0" is just stupid. Privateers was freedom to do what you want, fight how and when you want and have a blast. 0.0 isn't better, it's just different (and definitely more rules). While I like the corp I am with now a lot (good bunch of mates), I do miss the privateering way. Go get em Privateers. Again - seems like the bigger alliances are engaging in 'queensbury rules' - old school tie - jolly hockey sticks, 'not in the face' style tactics. My comment was in response to the "the real war for eve is going on mannnnn" style comments. If this war was really so important, and from the smack ive witnessed it seems people are really 'passionate' about it -i would have thought cutting empire supply lines would be one of the things that would be a gimmie. My first thoughts would be to establish an offshoot corp outside you alliance and get some of your pilots into it. Then dec the enemy without any risk to your own alliance. This corp can be recalled to 0.0 if neccesary to defend - but could spend time in tours of empire. Dont get me wrong - i dont intend to tell you how to fight your war. But dont throw a fit when I question whats going on either Oh and Ive had risk. I lost nearly 100 ships. And ive had reward - a fun game and a couple of billion isk up overall in loot. SKUNK

It was around 4000 kills i think this week. Many pilots dont post kills or losses so the true kill figure I estimate would be about 15% higher. The losses I have not botherd to post as they are unreliable. As an estimate we got a maybee 4 - 1 kill loss ratio - but both are just estimates. Our previous killboard held a few thousand more kills before it was taken down - but that was Privater Corp kills only. There were many opinions of us - and what we did. Hauler gankers, noob killers, Hardcore PvPers, always up for a 1v1, etc etc etc. These figures show that in truth, what we were doing was all of these - and more. Im proud of what we did - I think only in Eve would it be possible to have such a sudden and drastic effect on the whole game. I think a bit of Eve died with the nerf - first they came for the privateers - and then they came for you - but maybee im just being nostalgic I think the fact that 1 in 9 of you woke up in a new clone - his body left behind floating in space riddled with privateer ammo - has a lot to do with the bitter clamour for us to be nerfed. With 13000 clones popped over the last few months the implant market, which would have been inflated to a high mark, will crash, as nobody needs new ones? The ship builders who have supplied, say 40,000 significant ships to us and those we vanquished - will have their profits smashed in. All those ships had modules in em -thats the t2 module market gonna suffer (even more then invention hit it) as well as the traders of these modules. And the ratters who put there stuff on the market. I know I for one would often pay 30% over the odds for ships and modules just to get em quick without flying around half fitted. It's an interesting point you raise regarding the Empire prices due to ship losses. Time will tell whether or not you had such an impact or not on the empire market. It's a shame you guys were nerfed, I think your idea was brilliant. It made Eve a little bit more interesting, you simply could not auto pilot 40 jumps. It brought PvP to the masses and to be honest, I don't think thats a bad thing. You get all sorts of players in an Alliance, the station hugging gankers, the gate campers, the hualer gankers etc etc...sounds exactly like 0.0 . So for those people whinning they used those tactics, wake up and smell the coffee it's the same gargage in 0.0 and you know it. Someone said why shoot the shuttles, well they could have BPO's in them and it would have been blinking red you know you would shoot it if you had a chance in you home in 0.0. Anyway good luck guys, I enjoyed the fights we had over the time you taught our Empire guys some good lessons and were a great tool for prepping them for 0.0 PvP mentality o7
