As the topic says. And if they have, can I get a list, or link to a list, of the stuff that was player suggested and has been put in the game?
I'm just wondering if that suggestion forum as ever been put to use.

I think I read somewhere - in a magazine dev iterview or a dev blog or such - that the alliance feature where first a player introduced idea. Might be wrong though.

The Nano nerf.
I bet we soon see Cloak and Nosteratu nerfs as well which I would consider player suggested.

That stuff was things that were heavyily complained about. The actual nerfs weren't suggested by a player.

Since when is a nerf a feature?
Local standings and alliances, those are features. Changing one or two numbers in a database is not a feature.

I remember several suggestions about looting wrecks got implemented after the Revelations deployment. Arguably the boost to Artillery damage and the reduction of projectile ammo size had its roots in player suggestions too. So often it's hard to say an idea originated with a player though.
It hasn't happened yet, and we don't know how faithful to the original proposals it'll be, but Sarmaul's Khanid mkII should probably be mentioned, since Tuxford suggested they'd be making use of it. * * * In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

The stats (like range, strength, size, time etc) on the new probes became what they are today due to player input. They where vastly different when they where first released on SiSi.
Don't remember exactly (the thread where like 10 pages) but most if not all good player suggestions where implemented in one way or another in the end.

to be fair the people who suggested this were mostly impatient carebears who wanted it for moving faster. But it was implimented because of the growing problems with Insta bookmarks creating immense lag. ______________________

Loads of stuff has been either suggested or as you said moaned about and then been put into eve in one way or another. Heck some of Eves original players now work for the company and if that isn't player input I don't know what is heh.
I've seen a few MMO companies out there and while I'll admit I don't know them all, from what I can tell CCP listen to their player base the most. Just my opinion though.

I don't think any FEATURE(not a nerf or tweak) has been implemented, and if it has, certainly we won't hear about it.

WRONG!
There have been many. Perhaps the most notorious is the T2 Lottery. This was purely a player idea which CCP used. I don't know who actually suggested it, so you'll have to do some searching if you want to dec him.

See? Noone knows about the people who come up with them. They "miracilously" disappear from the memory and if someone were to say "It was me!" then noone would believe them.

Players of eve like most people that like to dabble with game design do not have the full scoop on how things work within ccp, technical limitations and game design scope. This is how it is with all games in my experience.
This means that while many ideas surface on the forums there are very few idaeas that can be taken completely and unchanged into eve. But throughout eve's history features have been introduced that are direct results from some players idea.
Corp wallet, corp hangars, not trading money like items (dragging them out of your wallet into your hangar to trade) are all features that you are used to today but were introduced as a direct result from player feedback.

One of my first posts on this forum was about idea of wrecks instead of loot cans and ability to salvage them.
Probably a coincedent because it past about 3 years from that post to introducion of wrecks. Then I first read about wrecks get implemented I tried to find that post but looks like it was too old.

And the second idea is about scavengers and how to get named parts. I was always wondering why ship explode leaving shiny new cargo container and no debris. Creating an explosion with lots of particles flying in random directions will greatly increase realism of the effect (with proper artwork). All these particles are true 3d-models and can be seen on scanner. They will travel at speeds up to 15 kilometers per second and removed from the game after some time as the ship scanner will unable to track them futher more taking into account their size. Smaller ones will fly and disappear faster but some large fragments of exploded ship can be seen on scanner for few hours so propertly configured frigate (with 1 or 2 MWDs) can chase and stop them using webifer or any special device. Once debree is stoped it can be placed in frigate cargohold or in assisting indy. Later ship parts can be extracted from debrees on stations and refined thus making a new speciality of scavenger but some of them which got less damage can be repaired and used as named components in ship construction.

Correct. Alliances are a player-introduced idea. Anyone who's been playing for any length of time remembers the old unofficial alliances (with their major pain in the a** standing setting). Players introduced it, CCP implemented it properly.

i did on my last account suggest grouping options in your personal hangar, to make it easier in selling slavage or finding items that have been there for a long time, i keep getting frustrated over not being able to find my MWDs or melted capacitors when i need a money boost, a tabbed grouping system like the one used in the corp hangars would be great
