You just need to find a nice 0.0 system to goto. I know a real nice system called EC-P8R that is anti-pirated, its kept real nice and neat so nubs such as yourself can come and see the true nature of 0.0.
So don't give up, come on out sometime. Heck..maybe you'll eve see me.

Don't go to 0.0 unless your joining an alliance and moving there to join up with them, or if your in a large gang purposly raiding someone or hunting people to gank in 0.0.
0.0 is not for solo players.

A 0.0 corp is sufficient, doesn't need to be in an alliance. NPC space is open for all corps, who are either good at making friends or able and willing to pvp and have enough stamina. I'd say 10 relatively active pvp'ers are enough to take over a system by force in npc 0.0 and make it their home, if they choose a [b]good[b] target.
Kill their carebears and make it impossible to earn isk, but don't fight, if they get help and you get blobbed. The system should be yours within a few days or weeks. We have done that once to a young alliance and after one weekend, when they were mostly trapped on station, they were already trying to negotiate to move out without getting killed. Having backup of a big established alliance didn't help them, because those couldn't be always there to help them.

the thing with 0.0 is mostly this, getting in and to a lesser extend getting out are the hardest things, once your in unless you cruise in an alliances hub 0.0 constelation you will hardly see another soul.
very strange out in the 0.0'ness

I've been flying in 0.0 before i joined the people who actually run the place, and it's fun, scary, but fun.
As mentioned here, you need to find another entrypoint. Or get someone you know flies around there to "friend" you and show you around.
I can't ofcourse tell any entrypoints or helping hands 'cause the people i fly with would probably chastice me

That's probably for the best. Personally, I listened to the advice given to me by those with more experience than I and have no problems at all living in 0.0
Advice:
Check the map ALWAYS watch local Prepare safespots and gatespots in a fast scouting trip Learn to use the scanner and the system map Be patient

The point is, you can find a piece of 0.0 thats entirely deserted. I've been ratting in a particular system of 0.0 for a week and didn't see a SINGLE person in local all the time.
Gatecamps work both ways - if the gatecampers don't care for a particular 0.0 system themselves they won't go there, and their gate camps reliably keep everyone else out once you're in.
The problem with all that is of course that while much of 0.0 is deserted, you can't sell your loot or do anything really without access to stations. Player-owned stations are just a gigantic space mousetrap I find cause you usually can't dock and get ganked. NPC stations aren't much better, camped and dangerous to be arround IMHO. Might do relatively fine with insta-undock BMs ... maybe ... which brings me to a question I have: Could players put bubbles at 0.0 NPC stations and if not, why not?
The other type of fun in 0.0 for solo players is being nimble and in a dirt-cheap ship. Fit an executioner or a probe with an MWD, put a small or medium secure container in, respectively, fit stabs and/or inertia stabs. Make bookmarks 160km from the belts in a busy 0.0 ratting system. Then zip arround and collect the leftover loot from the spoiled people, salvage their BS wrecks etc., this is by far the easiest way to get decent cash as a low-skillpoint player. Beats cruiser mining and level 1 missions by far.
And for the record, I learned the same lesson, having had my ratting raven ganked in 0.0 after three minutes by a blob of 15 ships (and having lost it mostly due to being lagged to death). Hence, if cash is a concern, use cheap frigs for the above tactics, or if ratting is your thing scout for a quiet place, then bring in an AF or maximum a Drake, and scout ahead for gate camps the first jumps into 0.0 with an alt. They are only in a 24 man gang so they don't have to fear 12 man gangs, they're not necessarily out to shoot solo pilots, they just will anyway, and yes you learned nothing, which is in opposition to the PvP rhetoric that you will learn only by fighting and losing.
I give some 0.0 a go every now and then, it's not really for me. I tend to fly solo or in very small gangs, and well, Me Versus Eve are rubbish odds, so I stick to combat where I can use my other skills to create more balanced fights. And by balanced I mean ones that I usually win.
0.0 isn't the pinnacle of all things PvP unless you decide it is. You don't have to listen to every whining carebear who ways you're not brave enough to make it there. You tried it, it sucked for you, try something else.

From time to time I clone jump over into 0.0 and run missions there. It makes a nice exciting change, and I've not lost a ship yet.

Bleh. It's not easy as a solo pirate, but it's not impossible either.
