What NPC module/structure/whatnot gives a decent price for pye? Is there such a thing. Best thing i can find gives a pye price of around 15 i think.
Im willing to reward anyone handsomely if they can point me in the right direction. Thx.

Im not looking for something that countains a lot of pye. Im looking for somtething sold by NPC's that i can reprocess where the value of the minerals are around the price i pay for this npc item. Lets take passive targeter as an example. It cost 45.000 on the npc market and contains 12.500 trit. 45.000 divided by 12.500 is 3.6. So 3.6 isk pr. unit of trit.
It could be that there are no npc goods you can buy and refine to get trit, it would just make my life so much easier :)

Were there such an NPC-sold item which allowed for the cheaper acquisition of Pyerite than the current 7-9.5/pu price, the prices wouldn't be where they are right now.

Its not about cheap pye Its about endless amount pye at reasonable price
If only shield boost amps were sold by NPCs :)
I have seen some of the ships sold by pcs at prices just above mineral value.

Sry im rather new, so i might be stating the obviouse. If so i beg ur pardon. In item datebase here on eve-online.com u can see what different items refines to.Also note that CCP have set a base price on both minerals and items in this data base. So if market values mins higher then base price, then it should be a profit in reprocess items that are made from this mins.

Yes. It places upper cap on mineral prices. For example when one day tritanium would rise to say umm .. 10 isk/unit .. one could just buy massive amounts of shuttles and refine them (to get tritanium for a bit above 3 isk/unit). I think that for same reason strontsium was removed from scan probe material requiments.
What OP asks is the cheapest source of pyerite from NPC sold goods. I would suspect armor hardeners if NPC's sell them altho there might be other newer modules. So far have not stumbled on anything particularly good for pyerite.

The coupling arrays used to refine nicely to pyerite (8isk/unit) but they got nerfed last year. Now they give you tritanium for 3isk/unit instead.
Screw t3. I'm waiting for t20. Just like t2, but it's free. - xArmagedunx |

I have checked allmost every module, but the nice ones either arent sold by npc's or at a different price than the "base price". Civilian shield boosters would be nice f.ex. but they sell at 900 and not 3xx as stated in item database. Hardeners arent on the npc market. Ive even tried reprocessing an assortment of different starbase structures to no avail, but i dont want to invest in the more expensive ones since they can be hard to get rid of again.I am allready using coupling arrays for trit which is very handy, i didnt know it used to contain pye.
I guess theres nothing you can find like coupling arrays that gives a decent price for pye, too bad.

Each faction navy's sell also lower end frigates, but NPC sold good in general are not 'cheap' supply, they are 'unlimited' supply. NPC corps sell stuff at 2x 'base' mineral cost + small markup (markup depending how mutch that stuff is selling).
So perhaps it might be worth taking look at those firgates. Granted you get other minerals also from there and depending on other mineral prices it might be not very effective way of getting pyerite.
