My vigiliant should give a bonus to any shadow serpentis module on it.
Ive always thought that there should be some type of bonus like that. Fitting faction items to their appropriate faction ships would give faction ship owners an actual reason to pvp with them instead of pimp them around in empire.

Well a dev did say they were considering cross module/ship set bonuses. So maybe one day that will happen.

No no no and no. One of the basic premises of EVE is that any character can eventually do anything just as well as any other, and that includes flying any ship of any race.

i wouldnt restrict boni to a race, but having race specific faction ships would perhaps work, faction ships arent exactly uber, their just named t1 toys and in no way better their t2 counterparts.
How about some race only faction ships, again just for the "oooooh" factor lots enjoy when using an expensive eyecandy faction ship.

i would have to say that while it would be neat, i highly doubt that just adding that <racial> spec skill would solve more problems than it creates, because in the long run, wouldn't it just become another specilization that you'd have to have to be competitive in the larger scheme of things?
