Only if you afk mining. If you can launch MTU and do jetison very often - its a Gnosis. Mix of mining upgrades and cargohold expanders in low slots. 5 mining lasers + 2 mining laser upgrades still gives you more m3 / minute and you still have 2300 m3 cargohold buffer. 5 drones is better defense as well.

Compared to the Venture, this seems like a pointless waste of time and money. Also it physically hurts me to see a good ship like the Gnosis abused like this. |

If you are playing in a group more yield makes sense and you can just keep giving the ore to your hauler so your cargo isn't a big limitation.
imo it is defiantly a better idea to not mine at all, but that is another conversation.

Paid subscription and a skiff. If you're limiting yourself to alpha - the odds of a happy ending are pretty slim.
Use the alpha clone to get a hang of the game. If you like it - pay the man and enjoy the other 95% of the game. |

More like mining yield is the Crimson King, in my opinion. If you have fun flying around in a mining-Gnosis, knock yourself out. Most Alphas won't have the money to spend on something absurd like that, though. It's bad advice when the Venture is perfectly fine. |
