Well I finally got my corp back to 6.13 (it's actually above the pre-Castor cap), and my agent is near ten but I was getting implants with this corp shortly after my corp rating hit 6.0. I'm still not getting any implants and they are getting too expensive on market.
Sadly I lost all my implanted implants after my agent kept sending me into nasty 0.0 that happened to go through one of the biggest pod kill systems in the game. I survived 3 trips through (albeit barely each time, thank god for MWD's) but the 4th trip I got stuck briefly with the repeated "approaching stargate" problem and by the time I had it corrected the lovely pirates in MD-JLK had warped in after me, cast the slow down vibe and killed me in short order then topped it off with a nice pod.
Needless to say I need implants again because 19 days to train a skill is too much IMO. "I can only take so much before I'll blow up my own ship. Hey isn't that what insurance is for?"

Which corp?
Implants are definitely there, cos I've had four post-Castor, from two different corps ... maybe your agents are just stingy.

Heh... my lvl 3 agent has yet to give me an implant. Several science skills, lots of Tool and Components for tech II, but no implants.
I've done probably 150-200 missions for her in the past 2 weeks, and currently have her at 29 effective quality.

They're there, I've gotten 4 since castor with some 300+ missions, but they've gotten a lot rarer ~{When evil and strange get together anything is possible}~ A tool is only useless when you don't know how to use it. - ActiveX The grass is always greener on the other side. - JoCool |

I don't think they have got rarer persay I think the quantity of rarer items available to agents as rewards/bonuses has increased. So yeah they have become rarer but you get other items instead like small shield extender bp's - - - - - - - - -

Having 6.0 standings with an agent to get a chance for an implant mission is a stupid rumor.
The very first mission I did for a level 3 agent when I changed from one carthum to another Carthum agent was an implant mission. That was when I only had about 3.00 standings with Carthum.

I got two implants with less than 3.0 agent standing. (Switched to a new L3 after about 30 post-Castor missions with my previous favorite agent, not long after that agent gave me an implant.)
Had 5-6 corp standing though.
I was averaging one every 30 missions, but after the implant at mission #90, I haven't received any in the past 50+ missions.

Lev3 agent, 8.35 standing - 200 missions - alot of tech2 components, skills, 20k toxic waste, 551 basic cargo expanders, 75 basic expander bps - BUT NO IMPLANT.
My corpmate uses the same agent - he has flown some 100 mission. No implants either.
Implants are corp-specifik?

Anyone managed to get one from Creodron? I've run a load of missions for them, have a greater than 8 standing with both the corp and my agent, but haven't received an implant.
Have received a lot of skills though, so can't complain

I do missions for lai dai (research agent) and the Caldari Navy. I have a Caldari Navy faction of 6.94, a Caldari State faction of 4.xx and a agent standing of 7.24 and 8.xx for my two agents I use. I have not recieved a implant post castor. I only need perception but I am not going to pay 15 mil for it. Spelling corrections welcome, but don't expect me to edit my post. |

Two Agents were kind enough to supply me with 3 Perception Implants. But it has been a while since I got one.
I think something is wrong with Missions (and bonus/pay outs) in general as I've yet to receive the 'guaranteed' 1 important mission in 15-20 missions. It's more 1 in 50 to me... if I'm lucky.

I am clearly lucky - I get at least 4-5 important missions a day doing about 50 missions. Even weirder is when I get them, there is usually a run of 3 in a row...
So it does happen out there.
Not got an implants since christmas eve though.. ____________________________________ Ying and lots of Yang please. |

Hmmm... I think I did something like one hundred missions or so for my old level three agent (Chief Executive Panel) before receiving an implant mission. Some seventy missions later, and no second implant mission. Plenty of tech two bonus rewards, for which I assume I will be greateful, but...
... so in the end, I achieved a corp->player rating of over nine point five, and switch to a combat based corp to have a little fun. Within ten missions, an implant. Very odd. More fun as well, for the moment... if I have to do another shopping spree again I might murder something :)
Equally, I have a friend working for three Suku agents, who has received four implants so far. Go figure.
Hopefully with the advent of scripted level three missions things might get interesting again at the high ratings. Or maybe it is just the Chief Executive Panel being boring.

Chief executive panel sucks big time... what am i to do with skills & TL2 components if noone buys them ... + i have a corp standing of around 8.5 and agent standing over 7.0 (that is with my second lvl3 agent, wich is btw the best in the corp on terms of quality)... so i think im not lying if i say i have done 200+ lvl3 missions.. no implant yet i switched to caldari navy today.. maybe ill get one there.. or at least a BS BPO but luckily the two agents are only 1 jump apart well see what time brings..

I received a willpower implant 2 days ago from my regular agent. I started from 0.0 and worked up to 5.0 standing before I received it.
No idea if this is any kind of pattern though, as I only got 1. Had to buy the rest - and the market seems really dry at the moment. | Join eve-webring.com to promote your site. |

Seems like there are not so many implants given out, since castor. I used to get an implant every 10 missions before Castor. Now i got 2 in 150+ missions. My agent has an effective quality of 40 and my standing towards him is 7.50 (pushed with connections 3).

IMHO this is a good thing implants becomming hard to get. We who do agent missions will be able to get a prime price for our work when we do get an implant.

not really... once the bp's for them come out the extravagant prices for them will drop hopefully (the basic ones at least)...
and for the record I've only gotten 2 out of the last 4 lvl 3 agents I've worked for, each one started at 0 and ended up around 8... probably 500+ missions, though I've lost count as there's no more counter...

I received my first implant today, I have a level 3 agent.. I have heard that it is important what branch of agent you are using. ie(adminitration, production, R&D...) If you are not getting an implant try a different type of agent.

You heard wrong.
Division play no part in what type of mission you receive or rewards.
The "divisional" aspect within NPC Corporations will not be implmented until Shiva (so sayeth PapSmurf).
There seems to be a lot of disinformationa bout concerning the divisions, atm all they do is help split up the maass of agents into smaller blocks - thats it, they do nothing else at all regardless.

Seems a lot is still up in the air. I just do the missions and leave it at that.

I got my Intelligence implant yesterday. My third mission for the best lvl 3 agent. My corp m8 got one yesterday on his second mission for a crap lvl 3 agent, which I worked with for 2 weeks straight and I didn't get any. My general standings are much better than his as I did loads of missions before Castor. So I deduce it is purely LUCK! ____________________ Space is still the place... Got my first ever implant since castor patch today.
Willpower Implant from Roden Shipyards L3 agent EQ:37...
My standing with Roden is 9.27, 8.49 with agent... Gallente Fed standing of 3.xx or so.
Mission was to carry fancy ying-yang blue-white gallente federation data disks. Implant was for just completing the mission within alloted time frame (2h or so).
Also Quantum Physics book was given along as time bonus.
So the whole implant giving thing seems to be totally random, IMHO. Your Heavy Neutron Blaster II perfectly strikes Serpentis Chief Sentinel, wrecking for 660.4 damage.

Maybe i am hyper lucky but i got an agent and in about a week i got 6 intel implant. As far as i know, i think and i say i think that implant may be corp related. My best day give me 3 advance science skill and 2 implants.
But some day i just get nothing... so i am seeing this more like a big lotery :) ------------------------------------------

Seems to be wildly random. I recieved 1 with a corp faction of under 5 for the republic Navy (didn't see one from Lai Dai until after I had hit 7.0) and recieved a second from the republic fleet after about an additional 30 missions.
Since then about another 50 missions and no third implant.
Will work for fud. |
