Not honoring a ransom is just low. You got your isk, let them be on their way.
not to mention that if you start getting a rep for blowing up ships/podding folks after getting a ransom, people are gonna start not paying you a ransom and just fight to the death.
piwats that renig on ransom deals are just stupid... number one rule in making money is to not **** off the customer (at least any more than he can deal with )

heck, as per last poster, if you are nice enough to them, they might hire you as protection in the future...

my friend was ransomed in his Hulk for 200 million on the 30th of August. He paid it in full. His Hulk was then destroyed. FYI.
