The Crimson Federation	Posted - 2007.04.30 00:06:00 - [1] Figured to throw up a battle report thats not about the EVE war 1 for once Crimson Federation were camping the dital gate in kbp out of pure boardem are gang consisted of 1 dictor (Eris) 3 cruisers (2 thoraxs and a rupture) and a Hac. after killing and podding a few neuts and some red uk pilots. so Uk and some other neut corp decide to finally come in and break it up a uk scorpion piloted by "TheMute" got caught in my dictor bubble and was engaged and as soon as we engaged local went from 7 up to 22 at a peak so we decide to head to a safespot but as soon as we warped out we seen the combined neut and uk blob form at the dital gate. just goes to show uk dont like to fight with fair numbers kb statistics. frigs-2/0 covops-1/0 cruisers-1/1 Af-1/0 ps. please note this is my first battle report so go easy and dont flame

When you and your friend where killing ships with 5 To 1 Odds it was cool and fun. The moment the odds changed from 5 to 1 in your favor to 3 to 1 (22 - 7 =15 devide by the 5 u had) aginst you it become not fair. You got A for logic from me. If i post something smart it represent my corp and alliance all other posts are my feeling/ideas only and do not represnt the rest

Of course thats the minority, which is proven through the replies in quite an obvious manner for all to see. To the op, keep it coming, this forum really needs more about smaller entities, not just about the big war that 80% of the community don't care about and 30% prolly don't even know about. It is nice to see that some people do show some respect though, that so many other don't is quite annoying.

I'm sorry to say it, but this report fails on pretty much every level, as many of the responses here indicate. Why? 1 - Scale: I would indeed rather call this a skirmish than a battle, and a very small one at that. Skirmishs like this happen on daily basis all over the EVE Galaxy. You also explain that you retreated before any actual battle took place. A real battle is where both sides slug it out until one or both sides are unable to fight without it being suicide. 2 - Format: Paragraphs are your friend. The layout of your report is generally clumsy and difficult to read. Its also rather short with no in-depth explanation of what actually happened, thoughts running through your head at the time, elaborate use of words to help describe whats going on. You want your report to make people think "Damn I wish I was there.". 3 - Smack: You basically flame Ushra'Khan for bringing superior numbers along when you yourself were doing the same in camping and ganking people. This is something you are going to get almost universal negative comments about from people because you're being a hypocrite. I won't flame you for a short report but all this is explaining is that you camp a gate and then a UK fleet shows up, you run off. We had our fun with IO but seriously as most people would say it: Proof or stfu! We had our battles against IO among others that were with that alliance. Some were good and others have not gone well. If you expect to win this kind of battle, you better have more numbers as with a small group camping a gate is never going to win against anykind of fleet coming your direction.
