Just wondering. Would you guys like it if CCP gave the ventures 4 turrets just like the NPC Corps' Ventures? Also in the Retribution Trailer it showed a Venture with 4 turrets. I would like 4 turrets to mine AFK and get ore faster and mine multiple asteroids. Guys agree? Yay or Nay? Thank you for reading this

But Alphas always want more. Rather than paying to play with the bigger toys, they'd have the game change to suit their needs. |

I think it's a better idea to just remove the Venture and go back to destroyer/cruiser mining, like we had to do before this overpowered ship got introduced. Miners have been buffed far too much over the years.

Alphas should be limited to noob ships....you can mine with it,scan with it,fight with it,you don't need more as alpha to "have a look at the game"....for more become omega....

Are you sure it's 4 turrets and not just 2 turret mounts on top and bottom? Ships have this if you look closely if the target is below your ship those turrets activate if it's above the ship then the oher turrets activate. |

Since Alphas are not signing up to become Omegas and in fact quiiting in mass droves, I think further restrictions need to be implemented instead. Like limiting Alphas to high-sec and no T2 modules whatsoever.

4 is too much. I only wanted 3 in a thread i made because the venture has 3 clearly designated hardpoints as it was designed for 3 turrets.
It looks weird to have three hardpoints and then only 2 turrets unless you have something useless like a salvager or tractor beam on there to put something visual on the third hard point.
If they leave it at 2 they need to redesign the ship model and cut one of the hard point boxes off. |

Nah it's 4, if you go out and find the npc ventures they have 4 lasers going while mining. 3 on the sides, and the fourth one is on top and on bottom of the little bridge in the center. |

It bothers me that you can't fit 3 mining turrets on a venture even though the model has 3 hardpoints maybe remove the 100% bonus

No, it wasn't.
When they are doing the visuals for a ship model, they give the model a mount for every high slot. They didn't always do this. It used to only get a mount for every *turret* slot. It started with the Minmatar dread. It was the weakest dread, with split weapon bonuses, but not enough hardpoints to fit enough weapons to compete. They had dev'd themselves into a corner; they couldn't fix the ship because the ship model wouldn't let them. They had to get the art guys in on the job, which is a ridiculous thing to need to do for a balance pass. So now they just make sure every ship model has enough weapon mounts for every highslot. That also opened up the option for them to give visual models for non-weapons like tractors and stuff.
