Bellum Esca is a PvE and industry focussed, startup, corporation that operates in Amarr hisec.
Reasons why you should join us:
- If you like to help us build a great place where a lot of people will spend a lot of their time
- If you really like mining, missioning and expand to incursions and maybe even wormholes in the future
- If you enjoy being part of a well organised group of players
- If you like mining and running missions in groups
- If you are a new player who would like to learn the ropes from nulsec-seasoned veterans
- If you are a long-time player who would like to share their knowledge and experience with others and take it a bit more easy
Reasons why you should not join us:
- If you're looking for a well established corporation with many members
- If you expect to be stripmining multiple systems per day
- If you prefer to PvP most of the time
- If you can't stand hisec space
The milestone program
We always have an active corp-wide objective that we call a 'milestone'. Every time the goals of these milestones are accomplished, a new one will be put up and the member who has been the most active trying to accomplish the previous one will be rewarded.
This will give a meaning to playing besides making ISK and should promote teamwork within the group. Accomplishing the main objectives of the milestones will always better the corporation as a whole in one way or another.

Wouldn't rewarding the one player who contributed the most to the milestone actually dissuade teamwork? Wouldn't that foster secrecy and sabotage? Wouldn't it be better to reward all members when a milestone is reached, so they all feel that their contributions to the milestone were noticed and appreciated?

Thank you for your comment, even though we're not actually allowed to discuss this in here I'm going to give a quick response.
We believe that teamwork works just as well, if not better, when there is some form of competition involved. The reward, no matter how big or small it is (it is about the idea after all, and it is not like we are giving away multiple carriers per month) will prevent slacking and keep people reminded that there is, and generally motivated to, reach the goal that we set for ourselves.
I hope that I've managed to explain our point of view on this matter clear enough, don't want to go in too deep here because we're not supposed to in this section of the forums. I would be happy to share more of our opinions and ideas on this subject via other means of communication as motivation and everything surrounding it plays a big part of my real life job.
