Wolfgame Gallente Aliastra	Posted - 2007.05.01 02:56:00 - [1] Planning thread for 5/5 Gathering in NYC. I'm going to kick things off with a bar recommendation: Why Not? 40th St & 9th Avenue. Pros: Great bar, pool table, cheap drinks, Hot bartenders, good food in the area ($0.99 slices down the street, and atomic wings down the block) Cons: It's a little cramped in there on the weekends, but if we start early, it shouldn't be a problem. Ok, kids, time to step up to the plate.

So what works for you guys? After work drinks? Weekend barbecue? Strip club lunch? paintballing the naked cowboy?

What do you propose? Well, I am partial to Naked Cowboys. A big weekend event type thing would be cool, but realistic? Probably not. A weekend BBQ actually sounds like a doable idea though. Like in a park, in or around the city. And I can put my amazing cookery skills to work. With such events as: Chili Cookoff (mandatory for a BBQ). Three-Legged Race for ISK. Alliance Soccer. I think it could be fun, even if only 5 people show up, and it doesn't make the under-21 crowd feel left out. I figure the weather would hold up till mid/late Sept. So there's my semi-realistic idea.
