If I lock and scramble a pod, but let someone else do the actual killing, do I still take the -12.5% sec. hit?

I can't say 100% sure but most likely yes. If you do aggression and the ship you agressed towards is destroyed you get the sec status hit. ---------------------------------------- A Guide to Scan Probing in Revelations |

Even thought its been already established I'd further empashise it.
YES it does, cause happened to a mate awhile ago, he didnt think it would and boom took a large sec hit and couldnt get back into high sec, was rather annoyed at it to. :insert cool signature here: |

If you dont want the sec hit but your gang still wants him dead, you can jump out of the system before someone else pops him.

It's been said as I was logging in to post it seems, but yes it does
If you are doing anything involving killing pods, I would give up your sec status now, you are going to lose it sooner or later.

Edited by: Ginger Magician on 04/05/2007 11:17:12 Yes u do because you are involved in the action.According to the game rules there is no difference between webbing and scrambling and firing on a pod which is right anyway. The actual killing of the pod is not the hard part

I can't wait for the first titan pair to go rogue and pirate in low sec. Imagine a double dd going of popping who knows how many pods. Instant -10. ------ "A wise man once told me never to argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level, and then beat you with experience." |
