None should mourn my passing when that fell day comes. I am here by my own choosing. I act by my own will.
Once I lived in chains and my Brothers came and broke those chains. They showed me the path of freedom. I decided to use that freedom to break the chains on my Brothers left behind and in turn show them the path of freedom.
When the day comes I breath my last know this. I have won freedom for countless of my kin. I know no other path now save that of freedoms warrior. Rejoice in my passing for I chose my destiny, I will never cease my fight and I am fated for a warriors end. When you see the last of my clones lifeless raise your voices in a war cry and warn the dead Telemicus Thrace is coming. Then cast my body into the heart of the nearest star.
Until that day dawns I come for my people.

He made a martyr of his foe and earned eternal damnation for his crime of serving the Deciever. He is spending an eternity of "freedom" in the torments of damnation.
You will join him. God wills it.
"When the ears hear only The mouth shouting And the eyes see only The fingers broken The world has turned And God has gone Left us with fond memories Of sweet life without pain."
The freedom he won was to choose his own destiny and walk his own path. Not the path another would choose for him. His life was shortened by his actions, but the actions were his own. To be free is to choose, our choices have consequences. He knew his.

You do not give choices, you take the ability to chose away.
Any slave can choose to abandon God and go to Hell. The only thing you 'give' the slaves that survive your barbaric 'rescue' methods is to chose the path to eternal damnation, which they could have chosen for themselves without your aid, for them.
Look at the blood on your hands and then look at the good you have done. You try to buy your false 'freedom' with blood, and all you do is create a temporary blight on the goodness of the universe which will be extinguished.
In the fullness of time, you will be gone and Amarr will still stand eternal. The Amarr people came into the world, and the world came into being. The Amarrian people are the alpha and the omega, while you are nothing.
This will be forgotten and shall be buried under the splendor of Amarr:

"Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place among the suns:
I saw the tears of the oppressed and they have no comforter; power was on the side of their oppressors and they have no comforter.
And I declared that the dead, who had already died, are happier than the living, who are still alive.
But better than both is he who has not yet been, who has not seen the evil that is done among the suns."

Well spoken Brother.
It is a pleasure to serve with the willing. No matter what the rumors are, the true pilots, the real pilots.... the free pilots know who's who. We protect free space because the other option is unimaginable.

I regret I am no poet myself. If I where I would compose an original work that would be suitable. However I like to collect ancient poetry. It passes the time in between operations. This piece is about a different, long forgotten, war. But I think it suits this thread quite well.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and where loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields.

"And the blessed will rise to the call of reclaiming
Sky of lost lands will bleed
Sinners will run from the wrath of one tribe
That once fled from the wrath of many
Thus HIS people will mete justice to the wronged"
An excerpt from one of Moourn Marek's recorded sermons:
"There is only space for one faithful tribe under HIS light, receiving HIS blessings and only them! All those in the darkness will suffer to no end...
They [the heathens] will first perceive 'unity' as the means to resist us.
They will band their arms together, believing in their mortal bodies and engaging in idolatry.
They will attempt to resist by worldly means an unworldly force.
AND they will fail! AND they will bleed again and again! Until they submit! ..."

I need no reaffirmation. My original affirmation was strong enough to last.
Steer a steady and careful path, Ushra'Khan. In my time planetside, I have seen much. While we cry for freedom in the heavens, free Minmatar on the ground cry for food and medicine. While the bloodied fist is an enduring symbol of hope for many, it has also been the symbol of bloody insurgency which has cost many Minmatar lives on the ground.
Amidst the banner-waving and fist shaking we must not lose sight of who and what we are, lest the romantic sentiment of being dead to our people should leave us with no people to be dead to.

Ushra¦khan are militants. The true terrorism and legal piracy is within caldari and amarr empires. The true matari free hearts and our ancestors know the only free land for matari people is in Providence, the land who owns Ushra¦khan in the name of our fallen comrades and the future free people. The republic should not forget those who still are enslaved but if they do, all the freedom fighters will be the mirror where they dont want to look at, because they see their own fault.

Sinners will run from the wrath of one tribe
That once fled from the wrath of many

As far as I'm concerned, this quote is one that should bring comfort to the Ushra'Khan.
Let us look at it from a completely objective view, shall we? I don't care for either side in this argument, The Ushra'Khan are upstarts and the Amarrians are arrogant idiots. But the quote intrests me; it came from the Amarr scriptures itself, but it seems to throw support in favor of the Minmatar if no one else.
"And the blessed will rise to the call of reclaiming, sky of lost lands will bleed"
I assume that the Amarrians believe that this referrs to their lost territory and assets in Minmatar space. But what if this refers not to the reclaiming of land, but the reclaiming of SLAVES? Had you not considered that? The lost lands might be the lands that Amarr WILL lose in this battle for slaves.
"Sinners will run from the wrath of one tribe"
True, at first glance, sinners must mean the Ushra'Khan, correct? But first, let us look at the last word. "Tribe." The only "tribes" in these days are lost of the Minmatar. The golden chain that Ugleb or whatever his name was, Had all the tribes insignias and an Ushra'Khan insignia. I took this to mean that they had declared themselves a different tribe. So maybe this is the tribe that scriptures speak of.
But what of the running? Well, is it not a sin to run from a battle that your god wills? Maybe the amarrs will be the sinners, fleeing from battle with Ushra'Khan.
"That [the aforementioned tribe] once fled from the wrath of many"
Amarrians have been whipping U'K for quite some time now, wouldn't you say? My point stands.
"That HIS people will meet justice to the wronged."
HIS people are, of course, the Amarrians. They will bring justice to the wronged. Wronged could mean one of two things. Erred, or they have wronged themselves, the common Amarrian perception, or it may mean that they have been wronged, or hurt unfairly.
I am afraid I can go no further than that though. The grammatical structure of this sentence confuses me. It is most often the case that such a thing has a deeper meaning than it seems. And no, I dont mean "the Amarrians wiull win, God is great, blahblahblah." Something deeper than that. Soemthing that even your Amarrian scholars, blinded by their faith in God, have not seen, or have seen and have kept quiet for fear of blaspheme or heresy.
But the rest of the passage...I think it is open to interpretation. Say what? |

The chain is simple brass. Gold is symbolic for the Amarr, a decadent.
The Bloody Fist reminds me of the struggle before us. Some consider us to be a tribe after a sense, but for me the fist symbolizes that there is conflict to fight and a duty to perform.
