No offense OSS, Ph.D, BLACK, HUZZAH, TSDS, and TFC, but I rather be up against 100 of you guys than on the receiving end from 20 ENIGMA.
same can be said for yall, which is convenient since yall dont leave PC9 in anything less then like 40 at a time

Out of curiosity Telemachos, have you fought 20 BFA pilots in one engagement recently?
100 of the OSS/BFA/HUZZAH/TFC/TSDS/Ph.D group meant only maybe 5 or 6 of us. And Rafterman seemed to be vaporizing ships left and right towards the last futile attempts to save the POS. And looking at the two BFA boards, we're about even in kills/losses against Enigma. And please let Kipper know I'm scared to engage another Sabre ever again.
The fights in M2 and JH were great, too bad I couldn't lock anything in 3 of the engagements we had due to blob-lag. You guys almost had my Rokh toward the end of the fight, but I got away :)

Meh, fair game to all...i see no reason to smack.
It's just a shame about all the lag despite the GM's being warned on each occasion. Can you imagine how fun that would have been if it ran as smoothly as say, when you are out ratting? Actually being able to target stuff and then MOVE to it would have been a nice feature.
Question; did anyone else get that freaky "still in ship and flying around despite it blowing up 5 mins ago" stuff? In both my Hurricane and my Maelstrom i was flying around for a good 3-5 mins in it before it finally released my pod. Hell, i could even initiate warp on my Hurricane.

Just wanted to say - thank you to all parties envolved.
My first fleet PVP and I must say it was fun !
4 hours of waiting for 45 sec of life in battle - well worth the invesment !
And ofcourse a big thank you to Enigma for giving us a helping hand.
It was fun lads - see you all next round, fly safe o/

First engagement in JH was manageable. M2 was horrible with lag though. Would have been much more enjoyable had I been able to lock proper primaries and activate modules and move/warp. good battle

Good fight to everyone involved... After the initial battle, ENIGMA left, thinking there wasn't going to be any further action. Most of our fleet then docked up and watched Manchester United get kicked from the Champions League and drink lots of quafe... Had I known we were going to lose the football, I would've stayed with BRUCE to fight another battle, win or lose...
Just gotta check the FRAPS footage to see if it's worth putting in a video or not... I had a suspicion that it's 1 fps rubbish though...
Looking forward to our next encounter! o/

FRAPS was rubbish, so not going to put it in to a video... In other words, my video is now complete (check my sig).
And back on topic, saying that BRUCE would call on allies when OSS had TSDS, BLACK, and everyone else, isn't really a valid statement... But meh!
And to my knowledge, we're not mercs, just PvPers that were offered a fight.

Well, they'd never have made it into Syndicate in the first place without help of mercenaries. So, when we put their POS into reinforced, we knew that they would call for help again. I don't think it's a bad thing to count on allies. Neither for OSS nor for BRUCE. After all, that's what you got them for. But BRUCE should have never moved into Syndicate, starting to raid OSS and PhD. They should have known that they didn't stand a chance on their own.

Disappointing to see frame bait posts from the OSS/Allies.
Anyone that says Bruce don't deserve to be in pc9 is misguided. Bruce work hard for each other, and lay their ships on the line when it matters.
I look forward to more good fights in the future.

Im proud to say the the OSS POS that was on the take down was actually 4 min into being online. As it came back up we with our BS group brought it down and all mods in the pos. This is the fun I love in this game. Thanks to OSS and friends for all the fun and lessons.

Edited by: Dangerously Cheesey on 03/05/2007 15:32:50 Great fights guys - Im sad that I was only able to be there for part of the fights because of school.
Heres the KB links for the various fights that afternoon...
First Fight FIRST (Outnumbered, OSS falls back) Second Fight SECOND (OSS returns, jumping into the enemey fleet) Third Fight THIRD (I wasn't there but I *believe* this is BRUCE jumping into the OSS fleet as they tried to take down the POS)
Lots of fun all around, even if there was some serious lag at times :)

I didn't know these numbers, but props to BRUCE for fighting overwhelming odds!

Ya it would have made it a bit more even of a fight. Given that only a few OSS ships were lost, there might have been some BRUCE who got away and didn't get on any killmails, thereby not showing up on that listing. Im not sure how it was lagwise for BRUCE but quite a few OSS people were complaining that they were rendered helpless by lag/slide show. Still a good fight :)
Edit: I was half expecting the engima gang to be only 1 jump away and join the fight (especially when BRUCE didn't fall back when faced by superior numbers) but no dice.

While BRUCE is the larger alliance in the PC-9 cluster, do not forget COE works alongside BRUCE. I suspect for every kill BRUCE has in gang operations, you'll find COE pilots on the kill mail. What was intrigueing to me was the cat and mouse tactics both sides employed. Looking forward to the next set-to.

Actually bro he is right. The mercs that helped move them into 0.0 and convinced them not to try and push into, at the time AE space, Y9G and A-Z. These same Mercs gave them the intel they needed to talk to who would bring them in and also worked NAPS with BFA and OSS to help them move into the area. The reason I know this is because BFA also helped with bringing them into 0.0 and worked NAPS as well for them...amazing how people forget and only look at what they want to. -------- Semper Fi, Jonis Sinmaker
