i just love my iphone. I'm not an apple fan, but darn it, the iphone is still amazing and the one every company still tries to beat.
you can get a waterproof case for it too for the guy who wanted to swim with his smartphone:), my friend has one and it seems to work fine.
@OP if you upgraded to a new 4g phone and the battery is crap, maybe turn the 4g off and use 3g instead to save batery power?

What's so amazing with the iPhone today compared to other smartphones?
Oh, and the iPhone was already beaten long time ago
Yes i have the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone, and i loves it. It beats the crap out of the iPhone 4S in most things. |

I'm sure the Samsung Galaxy S II is wonderful and better in many ways. . . .and yet, all smartphones still use iphone as the bechmark for competition. other phones may beat it on some features (because they have to in order to sell) but it is the solid benchmark, a balanced design that is always great, so for a general consumer at some point, why fight it?:) also there's more apps and more variety of third party add ons available if you like that stuff.

svetlana wrote:also there's more apps The argument that iOS have more apps is an argument that died out 1 year ago, simply because Android Market have way more than just enough apps now.
If i'm not wrong, then iOS only have some few ten thousand more annps than Android Market now. So i wouldn't just favour AppStore over Android Market for that now.

I love my new 4S. It was a present for my wife.
I haven't seen or heard from her in weeks. |

I got an HTC Desire. It is OK enough. It is just a phone however,t hat happen to be a little computer as well. Battery sucks big time. Capacative displays are OK enough, since I do not "press" it as such. Pressure sensitive displays however suck big time. |

It is very comfortable in an fast-food restaurant or a train, to read the latest news on it without need to get a huge newspaper or magazine. It has almost all you might need: An alarm clock, webbrowser, mail client, photo camera, film camera, music player, ... and of course ... the ability to make a phone call |
