I got rid of my second acct, but not if there were a training cue.
It is just to crazy to log into two accounts to change skills.
CCP will make more money if they let us have a skill training cue, at least 2 weeks at a time or 2 skills at a time what ever comes 1st.
It is hard to explain but some times logging in for two let alone one acct at all times of the day is a pain to keep up with.
Some times I had some long skills going but about half the time short skill about 1 day and less caused me to be logging in at bad hours,
And why is this good? How does it hurt anyone else to have a cue?
And then EVE mon not working recently was the last straw.
But still even with EVE mon, logging in at all hours is not always a good thing to make customers do IMO.
So I guess for now people that can wake up at all times of the night and get away from work get to have more then one acct or just put up with it.
Some new people have a problem with all of a sudden finding out this cool game they are playing is making them get up at all times of the night and do not want to play the game any more.
My brother tried to play and he did not stay because he was not about to get into this game he was playing even when he was not ready, just to change so called skills at any and all times of the day.
P.S. I did play my seccond acct for the reason I got it, and that happened to be to play another race, but still be able to get his skills trained.
And I do play often but also to be made to get to the computer at odd times not assigned by me is not good.
Bad for two or more accts but I guess I'll take it for the one I got left. Still would be nice to get the cue for the one and that would then lead to two.

Did this really need a second thread? The general one wasn't enough?
I'll asnwer the same here too then...
If your life is too busy to sit down for ONE MINUTE to set a skill when(or about) your skill is complete, then loosen your schedule.
Nothing can order your life around THAT much.

they won't do it because if you want a functional alt, you need a second paid account.
the keyword there is 'paid'.
if you want a trade alt to just sell stuff an achura scientist can start with the stats to have a whole pile of buy/sell orders.

I have to agree skill training needs a change. You cannot effectively train skills, because sometimes its not convenient to log on a do this, family or work commitments or just have a life commitment. You end up having to train a long skill just because you cant change your small skills that you are trying to learn for a particular path, you then end up losing time.
However i do think thats CCPs strategy, the whole point of MMOs is to get the player to play and PAY for as long as possible.
And people who just say hey just do this and that and schedule your life around eve, well is not the answer. Yes it maybe right for them but doesnt mean its right for everyone!!

That thing that takes up time is called a job. A lot of us have them. Not all companies allow their employees to log into eve.

Two obvious answers: 1- I can't log in at work. I coach at a local university so I'm usually gone for 14 hours or more each day. I don't lose much if any training time because when I have a busy week, I work on long skills. When I have free time,I work on short ones. It's really not hard. Every noob char starts with at least a couple level 4 skills. That means the first day you're playing, you can set a 12+ hour skill. 2- OH NOES! I'm gonna lose two hours of training! ZOMG! Weak. Who cares. If this game has you wound THAT tightly, you don't need two accounts. You need to go play outside or something. If your skill ends at 4 and you get home at 6, it's hardly a tragedy. You're not going to get kicked out of your corp for losing 2 hours of training. CCP doesn't come steal your iskies if you don't have a skill training 24/7.
That being said, a skill training queue allowing us to line up a second skill (I don't think we need more than 2) would be kinda nice. With Business trips and a honeymoon coming up, I'd like to have more options than just Battleship level five or Cruise missiles level five. But if there's no queue... I'll pick one of those and I'll be happy to be that much closer to my dread. I want a queue but this is a whole lotta whining about something that isn't a big deal. ------ Pain is weakness leaving the body.

Logging on to switch skills keeps the player base more active. How many times have you logged on just to change a skill, then end up playing for an hour or so with your mates?
If you could queue up 2 weeks worth of skills and not have to log on, you never would, and corps would wither.
I don't imagine people are setting 20 min skills just before they go to bed, so why should going to work be any different? Using a tool like EveMon, it is not hard to plan your training so that you don't miss a skill change while at work.
---- Some people say I have a bad attitude. Those people are stupid.

Like Yamichi said, set long skill.
Easy as pie.
This queue would be nice, but probably would kill the game abit. I dunno, not sure if i'm pro or con
Account sellers would have a blast anyhoop. EVEN less work.

This being the only game where your character actually improves while your not evenonline CCP is really asking a lot for you to log in every so often to change a skill. It takes no more than 60 seconds to log in start a new skill and log out. A queue of at least one second skill after the current one completes would be nice but im not closing any accounts over the matter.
